They were knowledgeable and interested in helping to get my vehicle up and running. They were also honest in estimating cost of repairs after thorough inspection. (Bought a used vehicle from private party which he professed to be operational. Once at Summit Automotive, for tune up, found it missing so many parts, and the transmission burst open spilling all its oil onto the floor of the repair shop.) Life Note: Have Summit inspect a used vehicle before purchasing from anybody.

I had a transmission code P0705 and brought it Summit Transmissions; was referred to Mossy Nissan El Cajon for the repair since Summit did the diagnostic with the great intention of saving me some money under my warranty. Unfortunately, it made no difference because I ended up paying Mossy Nissan what I would have paid Summit.....$600-$700 for the diagnostic & repair anyway because the repair was NOT covered by warranty 😔
