Dude I gave this place like five stars not even 30 minutes before this post and soon stolen so I mean so it's like that I mean is that cool only it's a little less cool cuz someone stole part of it that's what it's like living there

Things have really changed for the better since I got here in 2013. These apartments were built in the 80's. So they're not totally new. But they're great for a tight budget family. External features have been updated pretty well. Still some left to update. But they're working on it. Besides the occasional stray cat, it's a quiet and safe place. Unless it's around 4th of July or New Years Day. Then naturally it gets a little loud. Being a non gated community means the dumpsters often get filled very quickly once they're emptied. Most likely by non tenants dropping off their trash in the middle

Firstly I would like to say this location is well kept. Which is amazing considering the area of town we are in. The staff along the grounds are courteous and well mannered, answering any questions I or my family may have. The maintenance staff is quick to respond and take great care in the work that needs to be done whether on an emergency or scheduled maintenance. The office staff is both lovely and very caring of all that happens on site. They don't look at us like a number or an amount of rent coming in which is hard to find now a days. Porterwood has been a good place to call my home for a few months. Nelly is 1 of the most attentive managers that I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Her bright smile, "just to check on you" calls are something out of the norm and put a smile on my face every time. I would highly recommend Porterwood to anyone. Thank you.

Nely is one of the best Managers ive had the pleasure of working with! She cares about her resident's and If you are gonna be a couple days late on rent you can just let her know. The maintenance is excellent also. Definitely recommend if you are looking for somewhere to stay for cheap

My father in law moved in recently. Fantastic experience! Yasmine and Nelly from the office were excellent and very helpful. Quiet community. Very reasonable price. Highly recommend.

I have been looking around in the area for a new place for my nephew and by far Nely had the best customer service out of any person we met with. I felt like she answered all of our questions and made us feel right at home! Porterwood is definitely at the top of his list!

Infested with roaches that’s the first. The first day you move in without bringing anything you will see them. Old appliances, no light in the living room area. We supposedly were going to be paying about 780 for a one bedroom and somehow we were paying 930 at one point!! You walk outside and there’s wasps flying all around you, your balcony etc. just plain horrible.
