Optimism and warmth fills our airy, sun-lit center where one is greeted with genuine smiles. Large windows frame the beautiful plants indoors and the lovely scenery outside, giving our guests a sense of freshness and vitality. In fact, it is not uncommon for a deer or turkey to be seen wandering about our campus.

Family owned and operated, River Ridge is known as a homey and beautiful Living Center with a sense of community. Patients and residents thrive in our friendly atmosphere where everyone knows each other, and the staff does everything they can to make sure everyone is comfortable. We are proud to provide the community with a state-of-the-art rehab environment featuring a large selection of high-tech equipment.

All rooms are cozy and comfortable, and feature beautiful views of the outdoors. At River Ridge Living Center, every meal is a culinary experience.

While I will leave a one star review, I won't publicly explain. They know what they have done to deserve this. Hopefully they rectify the situation soon.

The place is trash, worst place I have ever worked Administration and DON will do anything to cover up mistakes, wrong doings by staff, falls ect. No one ever knows whats going on. Its a circus. Do your best to keep your family members and loved ones out of there! If it werent for their CNA staff they wouldnt have a leg to stand on. I have never worked for a facility that was so aggressive towards staff. They dont care about low staffing they are all about making money and thats it!

My dad Salvatore has been there for over a year with advanced stage Alzheimer’s. River ridge has exceeded expectations in every way and had kept him safe during Covid 19. Shout out to Rita Marie for her tremendous care of him.

My 92 yr. old father in law had brain surgery. We ended up at River Ridge Rehab. The Rehab people are amazing. The nursing staff is just as great. My father in law said " the food could use some help but it was palatable." Overall, this is a great place to be if you need rehab. It was also very clean.

This place by far was the worst facility I have ever visited. Extremely understaffed an under trained. Shouldnt take being threatened by adult services for neglect or the law for them to clearly see a patient was in trouble .I strongly recommend this place be evaluated an shut down. New York State needs to adress this place. The things I saw just in the 5 hours it took to have my loved one removed from after requesting hospital transpher for two weeks is uncalled for. Making patient sleep in a recliner for 4 days just to get a bed isn't necessary.

My father was there for less than six months before he passed. He was blind, dementia, and had lung cancer. His room had COLD WATER in his bathroom to which the nurses would sponge bath his private area there. He would cringe and scream out. Thats how I knew something was wrong as a nurse came in to change his SOAKED attends. I then went to the sink to try getting a warmer wash cloth, to my surprise, no hot water. Then, I saw molk that went spoiled and was chunky next to his bed on his table, rotten food left, his call light way off to where he could not reach it (again, blind...cant see good.

I’ve learn a lot working in this facility for the last 15 years. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and we always go to great lengths to make our residents feel at home. I highly recommend our facility to families who are looking for both long term or short term care for their loved ones.

Would not recommend for rehab. Rehab and Nursing Home residents in same rooms/wing. A separate rehab wing is more appropriate and available at other facilities. If we had known this before admittance, we would have chosen the Eddy instead. Do your research before you admit loved ones to any care center and don't be afraid to leave and find a more appropriate setting. The excellent staff care did not outweigh the negative staff experiences. Food was a big complaint by most.
