Services
Magy has been with our practice since 2014 and brings six years of experience to the field. She can assist you with scheduling appointments, ordering contact lenses and can answer any insurance questions you may have. Magy is also bilingual which is very helpful with our Spanish speaking patients. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family.
We are providers for numerous vision and medical insurance plans, including: VSP, EyeMed, Davis Vision, Spectera, Medicare/Medicaid, BCBS, United Healthcare, and many more. One of the most challenging billing issues in an optometric office is whether we should be billing the examination towards a patient's medical or vision plan. Your medical insurance may cover a medical eye problem, but not pay for the exam if it is a "routine" eye exam.
If you have a medical problem (eye infection, corneal disorders, diabetes, cataracts, glaucoma (suspect), dry eye, double vision, etc.), your visit is considered a medical problem and can be billed to your medical plan.Many medical plans are no longer paying for eye exams because of a diagnosis of blurred vision or a headache.

Dr Kurt E. Treu, Dr Rupesh K. Bhakta and Dr. Nutan Desai have over 50 years of combined experience. Our optometrists specialize in performing comprehensive eye examinations on patients of all ages, contact lens fittings of all complexities, and treatment and management of various eye diseases and conditions.

I enjoy going to Hamilton Mill Eye Care Center. I only go to Dr Dusai, because she always gets my glasses prescription spot on. When she left the other facility I went to, i left them and don't mind the travel to Hamilton to get my eyes done yearly that's how great she is. The staff are super friendly and have quick efficient service. Mr. has given me expertise advice on my glasses and helped assist with my selection, for which I'm always pleased. Highly recommend.

I’ll start this by saying it has been about over a year since I have been to Hamilton Mill Eye clinic but in trying to search for a new eye doctor I realize how important reviews are! I was a new patient and at first everything was great. The doctor I saw (I can’t remember her name but I think she was newer) was very friendly and made me feel very comfortable. She did the eye exam and I picked out glasses and all was well. Although I told her I had severe dry eyes and she didn’t do or say anything about that except keep using eye drops. I returned to get my glasses and have them fitted and

We absolutely love the staff and doctors here! We switched from a know group to a local office and it has been amazing. I have three boys and me that need glasses and contacts and they have ALWAYS been accommodating and super nice! The gentleman in the eye glass section always interacts with our kiddos and makes them laugh and will go in the back to see if he has other options if something on the stands doesn't fit our tastes. Love this office and staff. Highly recommend them to anyone!

I have been taking my children here for 4 years, with Medicaid (never a bad experience); very thorough in their exams and friendly when they are picking out their glasses. The gentleman in the optometry section is always happy and my kids love going to him to get their glasses adjusted.
I just went for my first eye exam in 15 years, I was very nervous, but all questions were answered, the issue I’m having related to a few other things that I had no idea would’ve correlated. I will continue using them!

I've been a patient at Hamilton Mill Eye Care for 10+ years. The care has always been absolutely top notch. The staff are all wonderful, friendly and knowledgeable. Over the years I have seen all of the doctors. My husband I have been so happy with each of the doctors we've seen, there has been no need to request a specific person. Which is great because I can book an appointment quickly and easily.
