Dr. Romeril was born and raised in Southern California. After graduating from UC San Diego with a degree in Biology, Dr. Romeril left the warm weather to pursue a career in optometry in Chicago. He graduated from Illinois College of Optometry where he met his wife Dr. Lamouchi.
After starting his career in Connecticut in a fast-paced optometry practice, Dr. Romeril realized he wanted more time to establish meaningful relationships with his patients so he could better help them.Dr. Romeril and his wife moved to San Diego in 2016 to realize their shared dream of practicing in a friendly, patient-oriented setting.

Torrey Highlands Optometry gives my, by and far, the most accurate prescription I've had for my eyes. Add to that the care and attention of the staff to make sure the glasses fit well and are just right, makes us actually look forward to our optometry appointment. Everyone there is just so nice and professional! ^.^

Amazing experience! This was my first time going to the optometrist in over 20 years. From the moment I first called Mayri was super friendly and helpful. She was even more wonderful in person! Dr. Romeril is excellent and very knowledgeable. He took his time to explain everything and listen to my concerns. Both staff were very kind and helpful. Highly recommend Torrey Highlands!

This was our first experience at Torrey Highlands Optometry. We were very pleased with their professionalism and delightful staff personalities. They made you feel comfortable and welcomed. The exam by Dr Romeril was thorough and complete and he explained my prescription and how best I could care for my eyes in future. We will continue to support our local businesses in PQ

Absolutely awesome! Great staff, all smiles. At other optometrist offices I’ve felt like they have tried to sell me something. Not here. Very friendly and I can see! 🙂 They really took the time to make sure I was getting the right prescription and suggested contact lenses that have been so much more comfortable. I highly recommend Torrey Highlands Optometry.
