Services
Dr. Stacy graduated from the University of Arizona and served in the Army for four and a half years. He moved to Oregon and went to Optometry School at Pacific University and graduated in 1978. Dr. Stacy is a Native Arizonan who grew up surrounded by beautiful scenery in Clifton, Arizona, close to the New Mexico border.
Proper eye care is important for people of all ages and regular eye exams are encouraged for everyone, but especially for those already using glasses or contact lenses. Your vision plays a vital role in your life each and every day, which is why it is so important to take the right steps for maintaining good eye health.

I had my annual eye exam today. I can openly admit that I have a very high level of anxiety being in close proximity to anyone during this pandemic.
The waiting area was nicely spread out for social distancing and there was just enough staff on site to take care of the client's needs. My appointment was at 11, I got there at 10:58. I was checked in immediately and was taken to the back room to remove my contacts just moments later.
The tech, Jacob, didn't touch anything, he just directed me to where I could find what I needed and offered the complimentary bottle of solution and

I used the online system and was able to score a same day appointment if I didn't specify the doctor. I arrived gave my insurance and it was a about 15 min before he took me back for the prescreen. Then when he took me to the examination room. The doctor stated he was taking a walk in before me even though I was next and had scheduled an appointment. It was already 30 min past my appt time and I was told another 20 minutes. I am very upset. If your going to treat patients who make an appointment this way why would I bother confirming. I brought in my prescription to purchase some glasses. I picked out a frame, and ordered my new glasses. When they came in they were adjusted, as normal, and I could see wonderful! Later on they were hurting my nose, so I went back... a couple of times. I'm not prompt about going back due to my work schedule. So about the 3 (or 4th) time I went back Griselle waited on me. By this time I had moleskin on my nose piece and on the ear piece. Ouch. She saw the problem, warmed them up and WaaLaa!! No more pain! I've been coming here for years. Recently there has been a change in a few staff members. My visit with the new doctor was fine, I left trialing a new script for my contacts and paid for the 2 boxes of contacts to be ordered in a few days. When I called to speak to Lorraine, I was placed on hold and then the other lady picked up the line and said "was this for insurance", "excuse me what are you talking about I asked?" She was rude and abrupt. So I let her know to please tell Lorraine to order my contacts the new script was good.

Dr Stacy is a miracle worker in my eyes!! I have been thinking I was quite literally losing my eyesight, as I already have a very high prescription, and my vision was getting worse and worse in my glasses. Dr Stacy actually listened to me when I was telling him what was wrong. Turns out my eyes really hadn't gotten much worse, my glasses were constructed wrong. He got my prescription perfect and his tech Casey was awesome at helping me select frames and he lined up my progressives the right way!! I just got to work and I can actually read my computer screen better than ever! I honestly

I was looking for a place close to home. This place is between my kid's school and our house. I started seeing Dr Stacy three years ago and he seems pretty cool. He can get really chatty and it takes awhile to get through the appointment sometimes, but I'd rather chat awhile than have some impersonal idiot. Been there three years now, and the ladies out front are cool, too.
