Dr. Nannenga is AMAZING!! My daughter was visiting from out of state and she was having a eye problem. She was referred to Dr. Mannenga by a good friend of hers. Her friend raved about Dr. Nannenga.
My daughter called and got a got in the same day appointment and was seen on a Friday. Over the long weekend the eye pain got worse. We call the doctor on Monday and told to come right in. Within 5 minutes of getting into the office, my daughter was being treated. The doctor even called a specialist and got my daughter an appointment the next day!
Being from Chicago and not really having a optometrist

We really enjoyed Arizona Eye Institute. Mrs Melody was really good with the eye exam and very personable. She guided my wife and I through the process, as we were first timers. They have a wonderful selection of glasses too. I love my frames and can now see better at night when I drive. Thanks Arizona Eye Institute!!!

This place is fantastic! Being a type 1 diabetic for going on 30 years the health of my eyes are more important than ever. I have always found the staff to be super friendly and courteous at AZ Eye institute. Dr. Nannenga is very thorough in her examinations with regards to not only procedures and treatments performed, but also in the amount of time she takes with explanations and addressing all of my questions and concerns. Would highly recommend!

The staff at AZ Eye Institute are so kind and caring! I had an issue with my insurance and they sat on the phone with me until I was able to use my insurance for an eye exam. I can tell that they truly care about their patients and are very honest about questions or concerns. So happy I found my new optometrist in the area! Would recommend 10/10.

Both the doctor and front desk were so kind and helpful! There was no rush to get through the exam and paperwork, but they were still efficient. The doctor explained why she did all the different tests on my eyes and it was the first time a doctor even cared about explaining why they were doing them. They didn’t try to push a contact or glasses sale on me at the end of the exam either. The whole vibe was something you would see in a small town setting where everyone knows everyone and actually cared about you and your experience. Best experience I’ve had at any doctor’s office. Doctor is very thorough in explaining what she is doing and why. Easy to understand explanation of the condition of your eyes and a future plan. Actually has a personality. The young lady that helps you with the glasses has years of experience so I feel comfortable about getting my glasses and they're correct. Besides that she is a Dallas Cowboy fan so can't go wrong there.

I was delighted to locate this shop in Chandler. I have to drive two hours up from the border and for months every optometrist and ophthalmologist I called around Phoenix and surrounding areas never once returned my calls.
This one did quickly and I arranged for a comprehensive eye exam and for two pairs of prescription glasses. The optometrist is very good, cares about her field and keeps up to date on her specialty. Something not everyone does. She quickly pinpointed the changes in my prescription and my glasses were ordered. They were able to match the color lenses I prefer for my sunglasses

I can't say how much Arizona Eye Institute impressed me. From making the appointment, getting my exam and choosing my glasses. In today's world where things are so difficult to get done, they made it easy. They were professional, friendships and very knowledgeable. I got great service and great results! I absolutely love this office! Everyone is always so friendly and helpful. You are always greeted so happily and its always in and out, no waiting! I bring my whole family here and I always refer my friends! I know there are lots of eye doctors around me in Gilbert but I will always drive to Chandler to Arizona Eye Institute to see these ladies! They are simply the best!

Dr. Nannenga is amazing. I am always impressed with her memory of patients. Even when I stop by without an appointment she remembers my name. Aside from that she is a fantastic Doctor, she is thorough, caring and knowledgeable. She has the latest technology and lets you know what she is doing and why. I have been seeing eye Doctors for nearly 30 years and she is the best by far. I would highly recommend her.

We've had 2 great experiences with this practice. My daughter had an exam, as her prescription is very strong and has been for years the Dr said her contacts were medically indicated and they were covered under our medical plan. No other practice has ever told us that or done the extra leg work for us. We truly appreciate their caring nature. My youngest daughter just had an appt today and they again were wonderful, we ordered glasses for her. Wish I would have found this place sooner! Our family will only come here from now on

I'm so happy I found this place. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. Dr Nannenga is super thorough and the office staff is amazing. By far the best optometrist I've been to! My husband was torn between a few frames and they told us that one brand was made locally. I'm all for supporting local businesses so I ended up getting a pair too. They are super cute and super lightweight. They are called TAKKs. I will post pics when I get them. Anyway, I highly recommend Arizona Eye Institute. Awesome experience!
