We conduct all of our inspections with the highest integrity, with the full understanding that the home may be the largest investment of our client's lifetime.
Your water might originate from a clean source, but in some cases that water has to travel through many miles of pipes before reaching your home. Some of these pipes may be very old, corroded and leaky. Ground water can enter these pipes adding any number of contaminants. Any home built prior to 1990 probably has water pipes joined with lead based solder.
Radon is a radioactive gas that comes from the breakdown of naturally occurring uranium in soil and rock. It is invisible, order less and tasteless, and can only be detected by specialized tests. Radon enters homes through openings that are in contact with the ground, such as cracks in the foundation, small openings around pipes, and sump pump pits.
Ninety-five percent of the time your mortgage lender will require that a wood destroying insect infestation inspection are completed on the property you wish to purchase prior to settlement. This will insure that it does not have an active infestation or major structural damage from wood destroying insects.

Had my future home inspection with Collier Home Inspection. Steve was amazing. I came a little early and Steven was already there. The inspection was very thought. Not only he explained in detail everything that needs fixing (including optional items) but also provided various options how to fix it. Even when I had questions a few days AFTER the inspection he helped me out. Great experience overall. Definitely will recommend to anyone buying a house or for any other home inspection

I had 3 different home inspections done. On the first I could have lost a lot of money on the full inspection however when the inspector found major foundation issues, at the beginning of the inspection, he let me know right away and asked if I wanted to continue with the inspection. He advising me that if we stopped I would not be charge for the full cost of the inspection only for the time he had already spent so far. Integrity, compassion, patience & understanding are some of the best words I can think of to describe my experience with this company.

It was a pleasure to have Steve on our home inspection. Steve went above and beyond, explaining what work we'll need to have done as well as giving lessons on basic carpentry and home maintenance. In addition, Steve has a great sense of humor and makes the process enjoyable. My father came on the inspection and said that it was the best inspection he's ever seen and wishes he had him inspect any of the houses he's purchased.
