For as long as I can recall, I have always had an intense interest and love for architecture and anything related to construction, home building, renovation or DIY projects. While I studied environmental science and computer science in college, one of my greatest passions was working as a draftsman during my college years, which I enjoyed tremendously.

My husband and I used Sven for the house inspection for the last house we put an offer on. Hands down the best inspector we used. His report was so detailed and he used colored photos in the report which was helpful for someone like me who doesn't know much about houses in the first place. We walked around the house while he was doing his inspection and any questions we had he was always open to answer them. Sven was amazing – he dug around every nook and cranny of the house, and gave us an in-depth document that'll serve as an Owner's Manual for the house for years to come. To boot, he found an issue with the septic system that allowed us to deduct a not insignificant amount from the purchase price, so his services paid for themselves. Could not recommend more.

I simply just couldn't recommend Sven highly enough! He is amazingly skilled and thorough, and equally important to me, he takes the time to answer ALL your questions and makes sure you understand what he is saying. In fact, he genuinely seems to enjoy this aspect of the job. He is not there to do a quick inspection and get out. He examines every nook and crevice of the house, and tells you everything you want to know about it.

As a single woman who has purchased various property types over the years it was most important to find a home inspector who goes beyond the industry standard. Because, the industry standard, failed me at my last purchase which cost me MUCH in continued repairs. I came across House Whisperer on line and honestly was reluctant at 1st because although the ratings were all 5 star, there weren't enough reviews to ease my worries. However, I decided to book. I could not recommend Sven enough! After talking to a few inspectors on the phone, I knew that House Whisperer were the ones for us. Sven was incredibly open with his knowledge, making us first home buyers feel empowered with the facts. His report was so thorough and thoughtful. Even though we did not end up purchasing this house after the inspection (due to too many issues with the building) we still left the experience feeling excited for the next one. Thank you x 100000!

Sven did an absolutely outstanding job inspecting our home. He was professional and responsive at every step of the process and handled our on site and post inspection questions with the utmost sense of urgency and care. He is an absolutely essential part of the home buying process, both with regards to diagnosing potential near term / long term issues that may arise with our home and with educating us on how to run the systems post closing. Sven really went so far beyond our expectations. I was shocked at how much I learned about my potential new home during the inspection. Sven's report will serve as a blueprint on how to maintain your home should you decide to buy.
