Carol was an amazing property manager who always returned my calls and dealt with my service requests right away. She took her time and explained every aspect of my lease very patiently and methodically, there were never any surprises. JRC also kept very good records and they were able to give me a complete and comprehensive form detailing my payment history when I asked for it. They were also very fair with my security deposit, I got way more back than I thought I was going to get tbh. I didn't realize how good of an operation JRC is running until I had to deal other mediocre property managers

My family and I have a long history renting with JRC. We began renting with them in 2015. Initially we had signed a lease to an apartment in Torrance through them but after an interesting turn of events we realized that we needed to be in Redondo Beach due to our young school aged kids. We didn't think this would go over well since we'd already signed the lease but Norma (our apartment manager) was so kind and accommodating and helped us find our lovely apartment in South Redondo which we still love to this day although we don't live there anymore. Been living in Torrance for six years. The property I reside in is well-maintained and the property manager, Lisa, is great. She is on top of things and gives us a heads-up when issues arise and what not. Lisa is personable and easy to get along with which is a huge plus.

I had only good experience living in JRC's building apartment in El Segundo. It was very clean, quiet, well-maintained and appealing to the eye.
Aleks was an awesome property manager, always kind and responsive. The other tenants are also nice people who have lived there for years so they make good neighbors. Their rents are actually lower compared to similar places, but the quality is good. I personally was very satisfied living there.

My family and I have lived in our apartment for 3 years now in Torrance. Carolyn has been a helpful and responsive property manager. No place is perfect, but we have been happy here. All of our maintenance requests (which have only been typical requests and nothing major) are handled in a reasonable time frame.

First place I have rented where the manager on property is very kind and easy to work with. Any plumbing or maintenance issues we have are handlers professionally and in a timely manner. Have only had a couple of months living in one of the properties from JRC and have zero complaints. Jenifer our property manager has been great to us. We have only had one minor incident, and she quickly took care of the problem in a timely manner. The property itself it's maintained, would recommend others to JRC.

They charge you a lot for cleaning even after you cleaned your apartment well. I scrubbed for 2 days and bleached the tub and wiped all of the freaking dust including the cheap aluminum cover for your stove that they got from 99 cents store. My bill after move out was $600 which was taken from my deposit. I called them and asked why they said it was standard cleaning fee. If I had known I wouldn't have spent my time cleaning it myself.

I have been living at the same location for about 4 years now. I absolutely love my Property Managers Mindy & Rafael Martinez. There have been several instances which were deemed an emergency (fire alarm was beeping, toilet plumbing had a sprung a leak, shower was clogged). Both Mindy & Rafael were super responsive and attended to the matters instantly. They assured me that it was no problem for me to bother them, despite the time, and all issues are resolved within the hour! I have been renting from JRC since 2007. Overall, it has been and continues to be a good experience. You do have to pay your rent on time though and I think that is pretty standard.They are fair about rent increases. I think they understand that many people live paycheck to paycheck now a days and a significant increase would be devastating for most people. The staff is especially respectful and professional. My parents just moved into one of the apartment buildings in El Segundo. The apartment is clean and bright. The building has a pool and is beautifully landscaped. The manager, Pimjai, was fantastic during the application process. She was very helpful and responsive. She obviously cares about the building she manages and the tenants that live there. I've rented a few places in Southbay, and by far Megan the manager on Ladeene Ave is the best manager that I've ever had. I've been in my unit for three years now, and I very much appreciate the management team, Lucky & Suzana. I've mostly worked with Lucky who has always been very kind and very attentive when I've contacted him. I honestly can't think of a time when I texted him or called with a concern and he did not respond immediately or within a minute of the text, or did not pick up immediately when I called or called back in less than a minute, if he missed the call.

Worst management company ever. I would strongly suggest anyone considering renting from them go elsewhere. In my experience: They shut off the water all the time without any notice. On the rare occasion they do give notice for something it's usually under 12 hours beforehand. They removed amenities without notice, never replaced them and never discounted rent. They do the bare minimum when it comes to repairs. I've been left without hot water for days without any notice or compensation. I've had my parking revoked (as retaliation for complaining to management) with less then 12 hours

This review is just so others can be aware of this company and save the headaches and frustration... I went through so many requests from this company to get an apartment on 182nd St, Torrance, approved. The office kept requesting more information from my current landowner and I felt that they were way out of line.
So I called the property management office and a very nice and professional lady answered. Her explanation was satisfying and professional, and she told me how good applicant I was and appreciate my application. I was impressed with her customer service and delivered the requested paperwork
