I work in IT, but the last thing I want to do on my time off is fix my mom’s computer. What she needed done was fairly straightforward, but without the proper tools, I wouldn’t even want to try fixing her All-in-1 computer on my own. Happy to pay for the convenience of dropping it off, and having someone else do the work. Friendly and conscientious. Made recommendations for hardware upgrades, and prices were reasonable.

So let me start by saying I got super lucky and found a great gpu at retail pricing. Everything was going great with my pc build. And then I tried to install windows 10. Crazy little errors kept popping up and prevented a lot of things from working correctly. I went to this spot and they helped me with all of the little silly questions that would be embarrassing to ask with nothing but support. Ten out of ten this is the place to take your rig. They had me up and running in literally ten minutes. Go to them and get help if you need it or just have questions.

Brought xbox in to get diagnosed said it would be a week and was probably a hdmi port. 50 diagnostic no fix no fee...great deal so I do it. Said it should be about a week turn around. Week goes by...nothing daughter had spilled water on laptop so I take that in. Guy won't listen to my story at all doesn't ask me about specs assumes I know nothing and keeps asking his manager for help who asked him to help me as the manager was with another customer. Finally I find what he can't seem to figure out and tries to tell me it is going to be $800. I say thankyou no. I find someone two days later to swap

The owner's inference that my report wasn't truthful really crosses the line. My tech-savvy friend who was with me during the conversation with Brainwave's manager remembers the conversation exactly as I stated. He did, however, point out that we were standing on the short side of the L-shaped counter where no sign was posted; perhaps it was posted on the other side of the counter. In any event, the manager never referred to any signage. In addition, two different Brainwave staff tried to sell me a new hard drive which was not needed. The second time this happened, I was told that mine was old

Brainwave Computers has repaired or upgraded 3 computers for me, and each time the results have been great. Although completion of some work has been delayed by a couple of weeks, Brainwave has been very fair on charges and their work has extended the useful life of our computers by years. I will definitely use them again.

Great computer store, which fulfills all my computer needs. I needed my old laptop updated and a new BR drive for it. They did a great job with it. The staff is always very helpful and great to work with. They are usually very busy, so patience is a plus.

Took my PC into Brainwave to assist with upgrading the motherboard. The new board was already put in and I needed help with reconnecting all of the wiring/power etc. I was told that it should take no longer than 1.5hrs, and since it was already partially assembled it was likely it would take less. 3.5hrs later they told me they had everything wired up but the computer would not POST, it was the end of the business day and it would be 2 days before they could look at it again. I opted to take the PC somewhere else and discovered that the power supply in the computer would not work with the new motherboard

I had brought in my computer after having problems with my computer not getting past boot up. In the very first hour they were able to identify the problem, being that the SSD card installed was not set up correctly, and we worked out a replacement that was installed in the same day. Great service and very friendly. The next PC I get will be coming from Brainwave.

My computer was having overheating issues, and I brought it into BrainWave to have them take a look. They thoroughly looked over everything and recommended the proper parts that the vendor I bought the PC from didn't mention. They fixed my PC within a couple of days, and I've had it back for two weeks now and haven't had any issues with overheating! Very knowledgeable and I will definitely go back to BrainWave Computers with any PC issues I have in the future.

Needed a specific part. A Chassis fan for a z440 hp. Asked the guy if a fan I had grabbed from the front would work as it's a specific 4 pin fan. He says "yeah it will work fine" get back to work and there's a notch preventing it form being seated. Went back and let them know. Guy says I "Destroyed the box" The box I purchased had tape on it from someone else opening it at some point. I pointed out I bought the box that way. He then says he's going to charge me a 15% restocking fee. Even though the employee who told me it would work is standing right

Unethical and horrible!!!! I was on my deathbed and a previous employer took my personal laptop and had them remove all of my files, didn't even restore it to factory settings and removed my whole office suite which came with the computer!!!!! They knew it was not Mandy Selwyn's computer, but still erased ALL OF MY FILES. When I asked them to make it right and explained the situation, very nicely, might I add, they assured me they would make it right. The owner just said there's nothing they could do and that this is between Mandy and I. How ethical is that?! Is that even legal,

These guys are awesome. This was my first experience with a PC repair store and they set a VERY high standard for me. They were extremely transparent, never pushed an up sell, and made it seem as if they genuinely cared about my issue. I came in because my PC kept shutting off during gaming. They were able to run some tests on it and tell me exactly what was going on. However, they didn't stop there. Aside from diagnosing my PC, they also just improved its overall quality of life. I was having trouble with RGB synchronization with my RGB hub. Well... these guys helped me find out what cable I needed for it. My hun did not come with one and it was proprietary. We hooked up two different cables instead and it worked! Not a very simple task by description. I have interacted with pretty much all the staff and each of them gave me constructive feedback on how to fix it and we eventually solved the problem!

If I could do zero stars, I would. Original estimate for fixing my laptop was 2-3 days up to a week. It's been 3 weeks. Picked up my laptop today and it's not working at all. Worse shape than when I dropped it off. Trying to get a non functioning touchpad fixed, now it won't even power on. I'd go somewhere else for computer repair.

After posting a scathing review here, Mark reached out to me and expressed his willingness to work with me and offer his appologies and a very well structured argument for why things went the way they did. They promptly handled my hard drive crash. It was complicated and they jumped right into it and had it solved as quickly as I think possible. They were reasonable on the price and handled the situation with the Mac and the windows machine, which runs on the Mac using VMWare without any problem. I hope to work with them in the future on some other tasks we need. It's nice to have someone local that will quickly jump into a problem without delay. I will definitely work with them again.

This place really went above and beyond for my Dad who's in his 70's and needed a new laptop. They totally recovered his hard drive even though he was told by another place that it was not possible. They even once stopped by his assisted living facility to look at a cord my dad didn't know the name of. They're just really patient and kind and really delivered above and beyond results and customer service.
