We are professional computer service center located in Beaverton Oregon. We recover data from most brands of desktop hard drives - laptop drives. We recover data from drives where other so called service centers have told you it would cost thousands of dollars to get your data back. We recover most drives for between $180 and $500, not thousands.

I got my Asus ROG laptop charge port replaced here after it had finally broken internally (dropped lightly onto that side while charging cable was plugged in by the previous owner, bent the case inward a little but worked fine for over 2 years that way).
When a new charger didn’t fix the lack of charger detection I kept running into, and I realized wiggling it just right was the temporary fix so it must be something internal, I checked around for local repair places with good reviews, and called to see if it was something he could work on.

I met Frank because I was looking for a specific computer and he had it. I try to recycle as much as I can and I appreciate the fact that he had a lot of great computers that he had refurbished. He was a pleasure to do business with, informative and made sure the computer was tip top. If I have a question I can call and he is always easy to deal with. He even extended the time frame to buy the extended warranty. I look forward to working with him in the future.

I came here after the Geek Squad told me that my power supply was bad, even though they saw it was charging my gaming laptop, and that I should order a new one using Amazon Prime so I could return it if it didn't solve the problem. Frank at Galactic had the problem diagnosed in 20 minutes and had a new motherboard ordered to fix the problem right away. My laptop works great and I am back in business. I highly recommend using Galactic for all your computer needs.

For months I didn't want to get my computer fixed because I was so worried about the price. I gave up and went into Galactic Computers and it was the best decision I ever made. They tell you upfront what they think is wrong, and then how much it may cost to fix it. I was lucky and it was only a loose cable that got fixed in a day. I came in Friday afternoon and by Saturday afternoon is was ready for pickup. The staff is friendly and I will be going again if something happens to my computer. 10/10 would recommend and you support a local business!

Frank the owner is a great friendly, super chill laid back computer encyclopedia. As a high volume online reseller, I buy scrap tops weekly, and have Galactic Computers do all the refurbishing. The price quoted is always honored, and super direct honest to notice any specific problems we've missed, which he displays with detailed explanations made easy to understand. I have only great things to say about owner operator Frank at Galactic, his customer service is above par. Frank is my first call if I ever have any computer question. We had a very old home desk top that needed help, money was tight for us and Frank came up with options for us to choose from to get us by and the fix we went with worked for a long time. Frank is very good at explaining details to me, I am a computer users that is a bit intimidated about how it all works.

I had an excellent experience after finding Galactic Computers. Originally I had come in to have my older laptop fixed at a competitive rate. The owner is Frank and I was immediately impressed with his knowledge and skill. The repair I needed made it appropriate to consider instead to buy new one and because they stock several refurbished newer laptops, it was a very easy decision. I got a trade in credit for mine and came back later in the day after Frank had time to transfer everything to the new one.
