Tv use abuse, no interaction with the kids , when asking how my kid was hurt they didn't know, he got the biggest bump on his forehead. Scary place for kids, teachers rotate so much that is difficult to keep up with the chances which it is not good for the kids.

Our kids went there for a over 6 months. Our kids were foster kids with many problems.
First of all, we are thankful to Ms. Ramelle - she have our most troubled foster chances more chances that any other day care would.
I would like to mentioned the great teachers working over there - we had the same teachers till the kids moved up to different groups. I enjoyed talking to teachers about the day. I always enjoyed talking to Ms. Ramelle - together we were thinking about solutions for our kids.
The facility is always clean.
Kids brought home some work, and were proud of their work and art.

This place makes a mama's heart happy!

My daughter is thriving here! The joy she has in her eyes when I pick her up is heartwarming. She is all smiles! She loves to tell me what they learn from day to day. And I'm amazed on what she picks up from class! She says how much she loves her classmates and her teachers, Mrs. Jane and Mrs. Katie. She thinks the world of Mrs. Ramelle and always says "Mama, i'm going to hug Mrs. Ramelle today! She's my nice prinicipal!" :)
We are honored to have our pre-k student here! I'm excited to know that she is getting well-prepared

I started my daughter here in January. Starr's Mill has been her first and only experience at daycare. Of course, she had at bit of trouble the first few weeks (lots of crying for Momma), which we expected--she'd only been with relatives or close family friends up until that point. However, once she got past that, we have had no trouble here. She loves her teachers! When we're having trouble getting ready in the morning, I ask if she wants to go see them and she perks right up. I was worried there would be a lot of teacher turnover, due to a previous review, but my daughter has had

I was talking with another mom the other day about my various daycare experiences around here, and I made a mental note to get on Yelp and rate the best and worst of them at some point. So, here I am.

Starrs Mill Academy was the best experience we've had locally. It was an AMAZING breath of fresh air from the place we had just left. Like, literally a breath of fresh air as the place always smelled nice and clean. The 15 extra minutes each way I had to drive to get to and from Starrs Mill from my home was WELL WORTH IT to escape the miserable day care we were at prior to finding this place
