I live in the area right near the funeral home and around 9:30 on a Tuesday night there were loud booms and fireworks going off next to the funeral home and people clapping and cheering from inside the fence around the funeral home. How inconsiderate to do that to your neighbors. Several people in the area called 911.

My dad recently passed away. We chose O'Shea for a variety of reasons, close to home, friends and neighbors and the fact we had attended other wakes there before. We couldn't be more pleased with the entire process. They were understanding, considerate, accommodating and above compassionate. They took their time and worked with us on every detail. The wake, service and burial was respectful and above all very tastefully done with a fabulous representation of his life. Thank you to Veto, Les and the staff at O'Shea in East Meadow.

I've only been to this Charles O'Shea funeral home twice. Once for my brother and then again for my nanny (grandmother) on my fathers side of the family. Nanny looked pretty with the exception of the purple dress they put on her. Now my Brother was 26 when he passed away in 2001. They dressed him in a periwinkle suit and he literally looked like Count Dracula. Good thing my memory is as sharp as a tack. The customer service in East Meadow was much better than in Wantagh. This year it will be 17 years since my brother died it seems like yesterday. I fought with my uncle because we were

This group and all its employees are the best I've ever experienced. They are understanding, compassionate, and just plain good people. The limo driver was terrific, and the funeral director, Vito, was there for our every need. They filled our mother's wishes perfectly and couldn't have been more helpful. Thank you!
