Our dental office is located in North San Jose near San Jose Regional Medical Center, San Jose International Airport, and San Jose State University on the corner of North Capitol Avenue and Mabury Road. We welcome our friends and neighbors from the Milpitas, Fremont, Morgan Hill, and San Jose communities to join our dental practice.
Flu season is back so of course I got sick. Finding a health center that doesn't charge an obscene amount of money to be seen is always a struggle. It was the closest, same-day appointment center I found on Yelp. They take several types of insurance, including mine which only charged a $10 copay. They even have their own app where you fill out your symptoms and payment information right there.
A father and proud family man, Dr. Woodlief is compassionate and community-driven. Patients know him and his team as caring, respectful, and detail-oriented-down to the last tooth. Dr. Woodlief started his career with a scholarship to UCLA where he studied biological sciences-and ran track. After completing his B.S. at UC-Santa Cruz, he received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Tufts University.

The ladies at this site are exceptionally great at what they do. They make me feel very comfortable considering I have always been a little jumpy at different facilities in my past due to not so good experiences. The doctors are easy to understand though very thorough with explaining the necessary procedures. My Daughter and son also had a good experience with this staff. We are new to California and I think we have settled on making this our primary dental facility.

Wonderful people from the front staff that greets and takes care of your billing, to the incredible hygienist Erin to the Doctors that treat you like family. I've lived from Maine to Cali and having recently moved away can say I will genuinely miss this place and the care it gave myself, wife and son. I had a cracked tooth several years ago and found Dr Woodlief. He fixed me up and became my new dentist. Update: both of my daughters have successfully completed their ortho treatment and are now nearly finished with the invisalign.. I can't can't thank Dr. Woodlief enough for his expertise in resolving the tmj and airway issues both of my daughters suffered with. They both say not only has their breathing improved but they no longer struggle with severe allergy symptoms, are able to focus and concentrate in school, have vivid dreams and are overall more emotionally grounded. This has been a physical and emotional health game changer for my children and there just are not any words

Been going here for many years now and absolutely love them! Extremely professional, yet caring and friendly with great communication. It’s great seeing how there’s new added technology over the years and everyone still going strong. It’s also relatively easy to schedule appointments. Really appreciate them especially since I had to move back and forth a few years and prolonged/dragged out the procedures. Nine years and still loving my move to Advanced Dentistry. With Covid times I've been nervous about going anywhere but the team has masks in place and great distancing and safety so I felt very comfortable. I ended up having a new cavity (thank you old age once again) that needed filling so I scheduled to have that done the following week and was in and out in under an hour. Scheduling and communications and reminders were all awesome and made this easy to get done and put behind me until my next cleaning.

I wanted to provide an update as I've received messages from other patients with similar issues and wondering what my next steps were. In April, I had double jaw surgery despite Dr.Woodlief's recommendation--it was the best decision I've ever made. The surgery was not nearly as intense as I was led to believe (I took zero prescription pain meds) and went back to work 2.5 weeks later. I would do the surgery all over again if I had to.

I have been a patient of Dr. Woodlief for a little over a year now, and the treatment I have received has been life-changing! I had been struggling with my airway for a while now which has caused me migraines and prevented me from getting adequate sleep at night. Since beginning the process with the AGGA appliance and now Invisalign, I have noticed a significant difference in my sleep, focus, and overall wellbeing due to my airway being corrected. I came to see dr. Woodlief back in 2016 for chronic TMJ issues. He seemed to be knowledgeable with TMJ and gave me a treatment that was way overpriced. Which was the DNA appliance. I asked if there are any other treatments and be said yes but they are only temporary fixes. I opted for the night guard.
After about 3-4 months, i was still experiencing headaches and nerve pain. I brought this up in our next appointment and he offered a treatment called "prolotherpy" and said this will fix your headaches as the muscles in your neck are weak. He advised to do a trial first.

He is very highly skilled and eagerly keeps up with cutting edge developments in dentistry, pain management, temporal mandibular joint problems and correcting mouth, airway and neck problems that create sleep apnea. Our entire family comes here ranging in age from 17- 96 years old. They are kind, thoughtful, and welcoming. They also don't pressure you for more then what you want, need or can afford.

Life changing. Dr. Woodlief and his team have been nothing but excellent. Words cannot express how thankful and grateful I am to have gone through his recommendations of the AGGA appliance. Moving teeth can be tender at times but I would do it over 100 more times because it has improved my quality of life significantly. Trust him, trust his team! They continue to learn and grow within their field! Always have the latest equipment! I could go on and on but bottom line is Dr. Woodlief and his staff are caring, compassionate, and thorough. I am so thankful that I went to Dr. Woodlief for treatment if my TMJ! It had become so bad, I wasn't even able to open my mouth all the way. I was certain I'd need to have surgery. After completing treatment, though, which mainly consisted of wearing a custom oral device, my problem is resolved and I am pain-free! Dr. Woodlief and his staff made my office visits an absolute pleasure, too. They are SO nice, professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Woodlief!

I highly recommend Dr.Khouri!! I was So pleased at my last appointment she is SO GENTLE and a TRUE ARTIST. I had some bonding done to my front teeth. I was nervous of the outcome (cause I'm so picky) also being that they are the very front teeth. She talked me through her process and I'm so glad I did it! I wish I would of done this a lot sooner I'm back to smiling from ear to ear.

I have no clue how you can edit your reviews on Groupon so here is the update on my last visit Feb 2019. I don't have dental insurance because its expensive and I've always for the most part get positive feed back from Dentist when I go about how well I take care of my gums and teeth. Anywho my last deep clean was 6 months prior( at a trusted Dentist in Mauldin,SC) to my first visit to this location. Dr. Woodlief is the best! He's helping me with a jaw and breathing problem that no other doctor has ever been able to even offer anything.
All of my adult life I have been mouth breather, which had many negative health and social issues. I'm now mid-treatment and can comfortably breath through my nose as my mouth/nasal construction is being returned to what it was before I had extraction orthodontics as a kid. I am grateful on a daily basis.
