Dave Backer started his Westside Cincinnati Auto Body Repair and Used Car Sales business in 1978, and now with his son Doug, has been serving the Westside Cincinnati Auto Body communities ever since. We're family owned and operated, long time Westside Cincinnati residents, and active in the community.
Dave began in the automotive business at the tender age of 15. With over 50 years experience, he has seen a lot of changes. However, the one thing that will never change is customer service. His favorite slogan, "If you don't take care of the customer, somebody else will", can be seen hanging from every wall in the shop.

Upon sustaining damage to my 16' Audi A6 due to an accident my State Farm Insurance agent recommend this body shop. It’s like the heavens themselves opened and the angel of clear coat restored my wagon to factory settings. Don’t go anywhere else for your auto shop needs. These dudes are the legit real deal restoration gangsters.

These guys are awesome. Their turnaround time is usually very quick, even with moderate damage. They followed up afterwards to make sure everything was in working order and are always so kind. They communicate with the insurance companies as often as possible so you don't have to regarding parts and estimates. They even filled my tires with air because they were a bit low! Fantastic customer service and work completed!

They were professional, the quality of work was amazing, they were extremely professional and were able to get to the job and get it done quickly. Everyone at Dave Backer was super friendly, professional, from the receptionist, the gentleman, named Cameron who cleaned it, including the inside of my car after it was painted and the man who painted my car back to new. Everything was perfection!! They kept me in the loop about the insurance and the progress about my car. The paint job on my brand new car was absolutely amazing! Highly recommend!! My Trunk on my Nissan Altima was leaking significant water into it after it rained or the car wash. I thought the leak was due to the trunk seal around the edge. Also my rear spoiler paint was all flaked off and looked bad. Andrew was excellent. He diagnosed and found the true source of the leak was the spoiler bolts/holes and not the trunk seal like i thought. He then fixed it. And he repainted the spoiler and reattached it. Everything looks awesome! And Andrew took the time to explain everything to me and show pictures. The service was just outstanding. I will go back to them and also refer friends

Wow. I can’t say enough good things about Dave Backer Auto Body Inc. This was my second visit here and I think it means a lot when your second time surpasses your first. I was greeted per usual, with upmost respect and honesty when I asked about having some minor scratches repaired.
