The Central House is a hotel inn located in the Hudson River Valley in Germantown, New York. We boast six spacious suites each complete with private baths. Enjoy our veranda porch and second floor great room with a fireplace, great for entertaining or can serve as a business meeting space. Located in the already historically rich area that is the Hudson Valley, the Central House has seen many eras and characters.
The structure was established in 1876 and since then has been a focal point of Germantown. The space has served as a brothel, a speakeasy, a stage coach house, and various restaurants. At one point it was owned and managed by the Rockefeller family in the early twentieth century.

Amazing B&B spot. Call to book! Very well refurbished house with ample size bedrooms, TVs, fireplace and great WIFI. Totally would stay here over any hotel in the area. Great and friendly host who is very attentive to your needs. Great selection of breakfast spread to choose from. Beds are very comfortable and got a good nights sleep. Highly recommend the restaurant across the street.
We drove up to the Hudson area not knowing where we would stay. Very very glad we gave this place a call for last minute availability.

We spent the weekend here while in town for a friend's wedding and the proprietor made our stay most comfortable and enjoyable. We had our choice of room and the shared living area was well stocked with reading materials and games, although we were too busy catching up to partake. The breakfast options were surprisingly robust and the surroundings were super cute. My only complaint is that the window coverings do nothing to block out the sun in the morning so you had better life waking up with the sun or being an eye mask.
