My AC recently died in my townhouse and given the extremely hot and humid temperatures we are experiencing in Dallas, I needed to get it fixed immediately.
I called Nicks Air Services and they got back to us right away, and had guys out to my townhouse to assess the situation the next business day (keep in mind all of this was happening over Labor Day weekend, which to my astonishment, Nicks Air Services was extremely timely in response).
After they assessed the situation at hand, they had guys over the very next day to install new AC units, which is amazing. From time of calling to installation

We had one the three units in our house give out last week. Got an AC company to come out and they really tried to push us to get all the units replaced for a massive price and used a lot of strategy to scare us into replacing all even though i could see only one was not working. I was suspicious and googled to look for another provider. I found NICK's AIR online and scheduled an appointment with them.
Nick's Air is night and day amazing service compared to others we have encountered. Not only did they inspect all units, they accurately diagnosed that all two of them needed was a filter change

I have used this Heating and AC Service company for a few years now. About a couple of weeks ago my AC stopped working. Even though one of their employees messed up the order and changed me more, Nick waived that additional cost for me. The next day his team installed the parts needed for proper functioning of the AC in a timely manner .

I just enjoyed having a friendly competent person come work on our A/C issues with clear communication and fair prices. Special thanks to Easton our tech for the great work. I actually sprung a last minute repair on him in addition to the work we called him out for (to be repaired at a later date) and he knocked that out as well on the same visit. Thanks again!

Truly, Nick's goal is to give you good service and not sell you anything. Their technician was on-time, professional, and provided the information for our equipment like he saw it.
I'm glad to have found an A/C service company in North Texas that is not trying to find something wrong so they can sell you more while they have you on the hook.

Late July in Texas is the worst time for an AC unit to quit working. A neighbor referred us to Josh at Nick's. He actually answered the phone when we called. Every other place we called had us on hold until we finally hung up. Josh was here in less than an hour, found the problem immediately, fixed the unit, and was ready to leave in less than an hour. More importantly, we have a cool house again. I highly recommend Josh & Nick's for their professionalism, courteousness, and quality!

I rarely write reviews for anyone, and this one is late in coming as I just found out that thy did not do the job that I requested of them. Back in January I paid Nick's Air to perform a system check on the A/C and Furnace, as the Home inspection came back questionable. Nick's Air Charged for the service. Today I needed to have my A/C checked again as the unit is constantly running and the technician told me that no one has opened the unit prior to him looking at it. The coil shown oil in the pan. The original Home Inspection was correct the unit needed repair or replacement and

Customer for life after coming to repair our AC units after ALL of them failed bc of an electrical error. Nick called me back within 30 minutes and had John (his technician) here within an hour. John worked efficiently and quickly to repair the issue. We are now cool and comfortable! Highly recommend for their quick response time and great customer service.

New house, new to the area, one year later need to replace the air conditioner.
Nick's could not have been more prompt and responsive to come out and write a very competitive estimate. One week later, full AC and furnace install in the attic in one afternoon. Got it and got out, left behind zero dirt or debris, and barely knew there were here most of the time.
Highly recommend John and Nick.

Awesome. I called on a Sunday at 5:30, and was surprised they answered. Then they came out the next day, which was Memorial Day. Then Rick fixed my AC, which someone else had told me had a busted compressor. I also asked for a quote for a new system, seeing as the other guys gave me one that seemed pretty high, and the quote they gave me was a decent bit lower. So yeah, these guys are good.

Spent the entire day installing a new HVAC system, new Thermostat, gas furnace, Evap-Coil, return and supply Pentiums. Worked all day installing and making sure everything worked correctly before leaving. They do great work, are fair, and I TRUST them. You can too!

I’ve called them 0530 in the morning during a major winter storm. They answered the call, and went beyond.
First they will have a technician coming in a couple of hours.
But they also called me back a few minutes later and guided me on some actions I could take that might fix the heating issue.
They were 100% right. It was an easy fix I’ve accomplished with their help over the phone.
No charge and system is back heating our home.
That’s an excellent level of service.

When we asked them to look at our HVAC for servicing, they said there was a charge for the visit to figure out what was wrong. After their visit, we learned that they had completed a laundry list of tasks that we never approved, and charged us nearly $500 for everything.
When we asked them about their lack of transparency before completing their self prescribed list, nevermind our budget or actual original maintenance requests, the owner responded by sarcastically telling us he would take the freon back and we could find someone else.
We also had a helluva time getting a receipt
