I was pleased to find a more sensible alternative to the other places that are overpriced and to difficult for the average person to get into. The Rockland has been super simple to apply for and the customer service is excellent. The called immediately to help me through the process. I am sure I will love living there.

When I picked up the keys, I was told that the apartment was still being remodeled. It didn't have doors to the bathroom, no baseboards and the walls were just spackled. It took 3 months and hounding and getting frustrated to get anything done. By the time I moved out, it still was not done. If you like the gated community, don't bother. Its always open. It only shut for a week after there was an armed robbery. There was no insulation in the apartment. I added plastic on the windows and my electricity bill was still over $300 for 3 months. I give 2 stars in hopes that the new management will be

Showed up on move-in day and got ambushed with an extra $10 fee! We set up an account with them online and paid all required fees and deposits in advance. Still- there was another $10 due or we couldn’t move in. No problem- just charge it to the account, right? I mean there’s a $100 credit on there. Nope! They have to have a check or money order or we can’t move in.

Worst place i have ever been in! it’s pretty expensive and everything is always broken. not worth 1000$ for a two bedroom. i do not recommend living here unless you want to be close to iowa street, the only perk but it is also a con. Even the outside of the building is very dirty and people always walking around even if they don’t live there, even homeless people will get in the pool Which is so gross. i moved out a month early even if i paid this months rent because it was so bad! i moved to the links and they are cheaper and the rockland can’t even compare to how good it is. i would rather

The Rockland has gone down so much since new management has taken over. The weeds are taking over in the grassy areas, upkeep of basic things has been neglected, we found standing water in some areas of the grounds and it stinks. My daughter has had so many negative experiences this past year from holes in closet at move in, random toilet overflowing into bedroom, unexplained leaking under kitchen sink, smoke alarm goes off when heat is turned on. Buildings are old and the complex needs so much maintenance. We were so happy to move our daughter out of the Rockland this week. Avoid the Rockland

ROACHES MUST READ!!!!
I lived in a unit for a year with a roommate and it was HORRIBLE. a guy in the office named something with a K is very rude and literally has no idea what hes doing. They hire terrible people who don't know what to do anytime you call. theyre terriblE and they scammed me out of so much money it doesnt matter. I literally HATED living here. Dont do it to yourself. ALSO THEY HAVE ROACHES I HAD SOME IN MY APARTMENT AND THEY NEVER FIXED THE PROBLEM!!!!! IF YOU WANT TO LIVE MISERABLE FOR A YEAR THEN RENT HERE FOR SURE!!! TRUST ME DONT MOVE HERE

I lived here for about 3 months before I couldn’t stand it anymore and payed an obscene amount of money to get out of my lease. I moved into a filthy, tiny apartment that had to be cleaned by me and my family. The plates for the stove were missing and it took three days for maintenance to bring them. I never felt safe in the property and found a much bigger and cheaper place in comparison to The Rockland. If you are a student looking for an apartments: avoid this place at all costs as it is wildly far away from campus than they make it seem. Their bus system that they advertise was also always

I moved to the Rockland in August and so far it's been a great experience. The rooms are very nice and big.It's very close to campus, food, shopping and a nice walking trail.I love how they include the furniture with the apartment, makes things a-lot easier. I really like how they do a-lot of resident events also. Only complaint I have really is I wish there was more kitchen space.
