Our veterinary clinic and animal hospital is run by Joe DiMari, who is a licensed, experienced Blair veterinarian. After graduating from Kansas State University in 2006, Dr. DiMari worked at Sapulpa Veterinary Hospital (Equine). He returned a year later to Nebraska and worked at Harvey Oaks Animal Hospital taking a special interest in Ophthalmology. Dr. Di-Mari will be adding the highest internal medicine and surgical care to the already established practice over the next several years.

They took great care of my dog Gretl! It was just last Friday that they squeezed us in because she was having an issue with her eye. Then stayed after hours to do surgery to relieve her pain. Dr. DiMari is a wonderfully skilled and kind veterinarian! Gretl is much happier and doing great because of Thone Animal Hospital!

Our Golden Retriever had been having seizures for several months. He had medication for the seizures. However, this morning, he was in a seizure when we woke up. He continued to have seizures. We took him to vet at about 7:45. They kept us informed of his condition. Cody continued with seizures, even with medications. Seeing Cody in the… condition he was left us no options. We were with him until the very end. The doctors were very professional and kind. We buried Cody with a shoe in his right paw. He was a Golden Retriever who retrieved shoes (and socks, or whatever he could retrieve).

Taking a moment to express how much our family appreciates THONE ANIMAL HOSPITAL, Dr Joe DiMari and entire staff. - We recently said our final good-byes to our 14 year old pup. From lymphoma diagnosis to her… last little breath, we received only the best care, guidance and compassion. Today... we received a card with Camie ‘s paw prints 🐾 and a lock of her hair .
