I am a current resident and this is my attempt to get management to take some action against smoking within the community. I have contacted concierge as well as the office multiple times about this issue. However, no action has been taken.
Apart from the lack of soundproofing, $50 monthly trash charge and residents smoking at all times during the day and night, it's a good place to live. However, for the cost of living here, I'm sure we can find a better, safer and healthier place to live.

This apartment complex has gone downhill over the past several months since they changed management. The office is always closed, they are unresponsive, unprofessional, and never return calls or emails. I would not recommend this apartment complex, the rent is too high for this type of poor quality.

I am a medical professional who recently moved out of Next after a 16-month lease and this is my objective and unbiased opinion of the building and the management that runs it.
During my stay, it became frustratingly clear that generating business revenue was top priority for this ownership and management company while the residents are voiceless.… Several complaints were filed with no response regarding numerous issues.

-Newly built apt building (hardwood flooring, big bathtub, and nice amenities)
-Parking space is spacious
-Electronic parcel system is nice & located on the 1st floor in each bldg
-Dog friendly
-Was better than my previous apt near the Grove

-Fire alarm testing/false alarms/going off SO MANY TIMES
(Sometimes they don't make the announcement properly/timely)
Yes, I know those testing are necessary, but definitely this apt has WAY MORE testing/false alarms than any other apt I have lived so far.
If you are a dog-owner, this is NOT the ideal place
-Walking noises/music from neighbors

I was actually considering Next on Lex for my next move but after seeing how unprofessional and terrible the management is will look into a different building. My boyfriend lived there for over a year and was constantly trying to get in touch with management for serval issues. It's common curtesy to get back in a timely matter but apparently this building doesn't care. Besides the poor customer service they had the audacity to charge a fee for late notice when you can't get in touch with management! Avoid this building for your own sake!

It is disappointing that I have to give this building 2 stars, mainly because of poor management. We moved here in April during their transition to Greystar and it was very poorly handled by the leasing office. On move-in day, we gave them a cashier's check for our first 37 days but the following month, it showed that we were "late" paying rent. This is highly concerning because we don't want any records to show we were delinquent when we clearly were not. I called the Leasing office and for 2.5 weeks, they told us they could not find the check, but not to worry and to just

Came back from vacation last night around 1:00 AM. (10/31/21). My mom dropped us off on P1 so that we could use the elevator. Imagine, there's me, my husband, my dog, two luggages and a lot of bags. No elevator. C3 elevator is broken again. We took the stairs up to building A, passed the concierge, my husband carried the luggages by himself all the way up the stairs , many stairs, then walked all the way to the other building so that we could use their elevator which is very far from our unit and then again, from there we carried all our belongings to build C. I really don't understand

I do like the location and the people that work there are very nice. But in my time living there, the businesses that own the building will charge you for what ever they can get their hands on. If you consider living here, also consider your security deposit to be gone forever. This business does not warn you about extra fees because they know it will end up in their pocket. Their best interest is their wallet, not you.

I lived in this apartment complex for over a year when it was first built. Things were great initially as there weren't that many tenants and all of the amenities were brand new. As time went on, things slowly started to go downhill.
One of the biggest issues that I have with this place is the lack of responsibility that is upheld by the management staff. There's constant smoking from tenants which is not allowed within the contract. I brought this issue to concierge and management multiple times - never did they ever

I have lived here for more than a year, and I am really satisfied with everything. I have never regret moving to this place. It has great amenities and services. My kids love playing in the Arcade room. It is a great touch from NextonLex. The place is nearby the shopping malls and restaurants. If you are looking for a great and safe place for you and your family, then NextOnLex is the answer.

I moved in June 2021.
my entire apartment was filthy the stove, fridge, was filled with Grease. The garbage disposal wasn't working when I moved in .The apartment floor was filled of paint and dirt Gums all over the floor. I send out email I called left message no one from the management team has responded. A month in after complaints I was told that they will send someone to clean my apartment until todays date i haven't seen or heard from anyone. I was told that they changed the management team and because of this they are having issues. I'm still unable to use computer or a humidifier

I just signed my 3rd lease, lived here since 2018 and, I think it says it all. I don't know what some people are talking about, loud, dirty...., they clean every morning and this is a community complex and there are children around of course , they should be happy listening to children's laughter , not complaining about it.

Recently i was scheduled to work in the area for about two weeks. A friend that lives at Next on Lex mentioned a guest suite i could use. I spoke with Julian at the leasing office and he answered all my questions and made the reservation process easy. The unit was spacious and had everything i needed including wifi.

The worst building to deal with, save yourself. Management doesn't care about anything and "we will see what we can do about that" is the standard answer to just about any question (and nothing gets done following that comment). Security might as well be nonexistent. Save yourself the headache and find somewhere else to live.

I'm dealing with serious construction next door that management refuses to assist in a transfer. It's impossible to work from home. 7am - 7pm work time drilling into the earth and demolishing concrete.
Imagine being locked out of your apartment with a fob system that concierge and maintenance staff have access to but tenants still have to pay $150 for a locksmith to open the door... I'm speechless.

THIS BUILDING IS SECTION 8 HOUSING - Not Luxury at all - Being used as low income housing - not safe to bring your family here!
The website that we use to pay our (overpriced) rent has been HACKED and a few days later the building gets suddenly sold without announcement or warning to California Community Housing. This is the third owner in less than a year! Obviously the law suits are catching up with the horrendous management / owner. Speak with current tenants not the lying sales team before you consider living in this dump!

Terrible management, especially Allan's work. They don't care about your problems with their service. Got a notice on Christmas Eve about a rent increase. Mildew on the walls. Repair work is done even at night, they expect you to sleep with noise above 75 decibels in your bedroom( it's about like putting a bed on the highway).

Honestly the apartments look good, but are built poorly. If you have a little OCD or just want things lined up because it should be, this place would bug you. Somehow the contractors who painted the hallways forgot our ceiling to the apartment so it's unusually darker than everyone else's. ((UPDATE: apparently it's not that they forgot to paint it, they just made it wrong and shaped it incorrectly.)) The appliances look new, but we've had to talk to maintenance more than 5 times since we've lived here for a few months. The door wouldn't close because it's not
