Hi, I'm Randy Bean - owner and home inspector of Bean Home Inspections. When I am not inspecting or working on a project, I enjoy spending time with my daughter and golfing. Before I became a home inspector, I spent almost 30 years in the general contracting business. Having a background in residential construction gives me an major advantage when it comes to inspecting homes.

Our property owner / manger recommended randy we hired his company we were in another state at the time he came right away very professional organized seemed to go through everything with a fine tooth comb he caught some little things caught two fairly big things a broken seal in a window and the blower motor in the Furnace was making a loud noice but we were still having problems with our furnace it turned out to be a venting problem the vent pipe that goes from the furnace through the roof was deteriorated and cracked in several places from the inside out pieces fell into the furnace and blocked

I would highly recommend Randy Bean to anyone who needs a home inspector. His inspection and report were both very thorough and professionally done, and he patiently answered all of my many questions in a clear fashion. He even provided a follow-up letter for my lender when the appraiser raised some questions about the house at the last minute. It was a pleasure meeting Randy, too - soon after meeting him, I could tell he was an honest, stand-up guy and a very experienced inspector. If I ever need a home inspection again, there's no question who I will call.

Randy was very thorough and pleasant. He was down to earth and amicable, while at the same time very professional. He started out by asking what questions or concerns we had about the home to make sure he covered any specific needs we had. He then covered every inch of the house inside and out. He not only noted anything that needed attention, he even made suggestions on ways to improve on things that passed the inspection. He never made us feel rushed, and had a detailed report emailed to us the next day. I have no regrets whatsoever about working with him, and would call him again in the future

My husband & I are relocating across the country and trusted Randy to perform the home inspection on the house we are purchasing in our absence. He was professional, knowledgeable and extraordinarily personable. Randy answered all of our questions both during the inspection and after receiving the report. His written report was easy to read & complete with photos indicating where the issues were along with a brief recommendation on their fixes. Randy went above and beyond to assist us with some questions we had on repairs as well as answering questions on basic housing regulations in New Hampshire
