Elev8 Hot Yoga
We have two rooms that allows us to offer a diversity of classes continuously throughout the day, every day. Whether you are an experienced yogi or this is your very first class, there is something here for you. Other notable changes include the current closure of our showers and there will be no iced and scented towels at this time.

Typically used in ballet to provide dancers stability and balance while performing both fast and slow exercises, a handrail (Barre) is placed securely so that you are supported during different movements. This set sequence is designed to work your entire body inside and out, increasing your strength, mobility, flexibility, balance and stamina, held in a heated room to warm up your muscles and help you release both mental and physical toxins.
Services
My name is Kristine Borden and I am the Co-Founder of Elev8 Hot Yoga. I have always had a love of fitness prior to discovering Hot Yoga, I was a runner and even had the privileged of running the Boston Marathon three times. I fell in love with the benefits of Hot Yoga immediately upon taking my first Hot Yoga class and I was literally "hooked".
26 postures, 2 breathing exercises. Each posture is executed individually with emphasis on alignment and stillness. Each breath allows the opportunity to intensify the posture. You will hold the posture for many breaths before moving on to the next. The sequence is designed to work your entire body inside and out, increase your strength, flexibility, balance & stamina.
Making yoga fitness and health accessible to everyone is our main goal at Elev8-so we price our classes and packages to allow you the most flexiblity and affordability possible. We encourage you to reach out to us here at Elev8 Hot Yoga - let us answer all your questions, while we design an experience that will bring you the most rewarding introduction to yoga, our studio and our programs!
The Legacy Memberships are only available to those who have had a membership prior to the closure and are choosing to recommit immediately with updated guidelines. The Legacy rates will continue to be lower than any other rates available, and less than any other studio in the area. A request to cancel your Legacy Membership must be made in writing a minimum of 5 days prior to your billing date.
Workshops are special events that allow the Elev8 staff and special guests to share their extensive knowledge of yoga, barre, pilates, aruyveda, nutrition, massage, essential oils, and a myriad of other topics, as well as growing your own physical and mental well-being, mindfulness and mediation.

Elev8 believes yoga starts within, and grows, beyond the self, into the community, into the world and finally, back into your own heart and soul, as you experience special places and make life-long friends, all while taking your practice, and yourself, to new lands and new memories.

I bought 2 weeks unlimited for $50 which is a great deal. The actual studio is very nice and in a great location. I liked 2 out of the 4 classes I was able to attend. I like 2 out of the 4 instructors. One instructor made me feels pretty uncomfortable in class. This turned me off from continuing to go here but I could see this being a great fit for others!

We are approaching nearly 1-year into this pandemic. I realize how much Elev8 Hot Yoga is a missing part of my weekly healthy routine. This is truly a miserable situation and I'm waiting patiently to rejoin our yoga family.

This is the best yoga studio I have EVER been to. I have been practicing yoga on and off again for 12 years. I recently moved to the area and was in search of a new studio. I walked into this studio and was welcomed with open arms. The owners are stupendous they REALLY care. They have top notch teachers who will offer variations of poses and help you through class. If I could give this place 10 stars I would!

My aunt and I took a Vinyasa yoga class with Sundy and the instructor was way too fast for someone who was new to yoga. She did not break the postures down or check to see if people were following along.

We ended up leaving the class 10minutes early and canceling all of our other classes.

I was going there fore some time for yoga and work out. One of my favorite places I've ever been! What a awesome community!

A few months ago i moved suddenly, and canceled my membership over the phone but the past two months I've been charged my member ship fee...
I've called about it countless times and sent a email. Super frustrating especially because I love this place

I purchased a Groupon for this studio but am having a hard time getting in touch with anyone to redeem it. I've called the studio but no one ever answers and the voicemail box is full. I've also attempted to email them a few times with no response. I finally drove to the studio to sign up in person and the door was locked even though the open sign is lit. I've heard amazing things about the instructors and the studio but am starting to become discouraged about actually being able to go to the studio.

It is a great studio. I just wish someone is always at the front desk to answer calls. Nobody answers their phone so you have to literally go to their place if you have any questions or want to inquire for anything

After a few classes, I was excited to finally found a good studio. Even though it was a bit of a drive from Seattle, the few classes I took made it really worth the drive.

But today was incredibly embarrassing after I was told to leave the classroom.

After a good 20 min sweat. I really needed to use the bathroom. I rushed back to my class and was going to continue with the work out. But instructor Linda yelled at me in front of the whole class.. " if you're going to leave the classroom, don't come back." I was new to her class and had no idea this was her rules. She was

Awesome yoga studio! Started going there Jan 2019 and got an unlimited pass every month after until I moved out of WA in July 2019.
Great classes, amazing instructors, clean + beautiful studio, and they ALWAYS give you a cold towel after class which a lot of studios don't do.
One of the owners, Angela, was super helpful when I was in the process of moving but still wanted to go to class.
Highly recommend!!

My wife and I went here for a Monday afternoon HIT work out. Holy smokes! Once you go, you are absolutely going back four more rounds of high intensity interval training.

Just be VERY aware: you will want to push through the heat stroke, but ease into it. Drink lots of water. Take plenty of breaks.

Awesome instructor who is very knowledgeable and doesn't go too crazy with the eastern mysticism side of yoga. (I cannot speak to the typical yoga classes and their degree of meditation to the 30 million gods of Hinduism)

Fantastic music too.

Hit/tip: bring a yoga mat with a towel to cover

Really great classes with energetic instructors. I mostly do Barre and Define. The instructor for Define (Linda) will take the time to help you correct your form. I have noticed both instructors ((Linda and Jana) would push you and encourage you to finish your set and not give up, especially when they know you are about to throw in the towel. My only gripe about this place is that they do not cap class sizes, so sometimes you are stuffed in the rooms like sardines and have to be cautious of your movement or else you'll hit your neighbors, or you don't get to use your full range of

I recently started going to Elev8 back in October of 2018, they offer a wide range of classes during convenient time slots and have found that the instructors as well as the members to be warm, positive and encouraging. The studio is always clean and very well maintained. This studio is definitely a gem in this city!

I started off with the TRX, barre, pilates and hatha classes which I found them all to be very high quality workouts, I felt challenged and always enjoy each one. I work at night, so I tend to join the daytime sessions. I've taken classes with Linda, Suny, Jana and Julie. All

I hate exercising but I don't feel like exercising when I'm here. It feels so good after the class.
So far I took Kristen, Sunny, Richell, and Trish's class and I love them all! Kristen and Sunny is really funny. Richell is so sweet and Trish has my dream bod. :) I'm sore after every class! And I took then 10 already. I started to bring my husband who works out at the gym and even he was impressed. He said workout is good. We love this place

Wanted to like this place but a few things kept me from doing so:

The check in/welcome. The woman at the counter had no idea what she was doing. Like, at all. It just was very time consuming and she wasn't really welcoming considering I was visiting from Denver and didn't bring my things.

The instructor while very clearly fit, had an extremely thick accent that was hard to understand and the sequence was challenging to the point of like " why the heck are we doing every single posture know to man in the scalding heat"? I guess that the temperature wasn't quite as hot

I love it here. I have never ever been even close to a morning person, but I actually look forward to 6:30 AM barre class twice a week. I also love the hot barre classes Wednesday and Sunday, and I've tried and the 6 AM hot vinyasa yoga which was great. Each are amazing workouts that really push you physically, as well as mentally, in a place that feels safe and comfortable. The instructors are caring and highly skilled, and I leave each class feeling strong and content.

I have attended most classes that Elevate 8 Hot Yoga offers with a good number of teachers. In all fairness how can a person give a review of a studio if they only went to one class? My experience regarding the studio is that the teachers care about the students and encourage feedback. There is always a friendly greeting when I enter and the fact that I pre check in to classes keeps me accountable. The owners are very warm and kind people who care about community and even offer cold towels with essential oils after class.

I normally am heavily involved with weight lifting and for the last 1 1

Probably the best hot yoga studio I've been to!

Hot yoga isn't my style, I teach room temperature yoga and you'll likely find me hanging out at Three Trees Yoga or a studio in Tacoma -- but I really admire the vibe I got from this place as a business.

I talked to Kristine and she was very real and welcoming.
