Chef Shawny T~W is self taught in all of her food service skills.
She has been cooking since she was a little girl and learned a lot of her skills from her Grandma Millie who was born and raised in Winnsboro, Louisiana. Shawny is food safe certified and also a certified food protection manager. We are located in the Aurora Cultural Arts District but you can also catch us at events or reserve our food truck for any occasion.

Follow us on Facebook or Instagram for specials and check out Food Truck menu for our current available dishes. If you see a dish you like you may preorder it 48 hours in advance before Sunday when our food truck is open. All preorders must be paid 100% in advance. Our wings our seasones with Miss Millie's Kitchen Lemon Pepper seasoning and then drizzles with pure honey.
Now you don't have to go to multiple companies to help with your special occasion or event. We are a one stop shop for all your party needs. Not only do we do your decorations we will also help find a venue for your event if needed and also a DJ if needed. Our mission is to also build our business up so we can be able to sponsor an after school youth program that is in development called Love Thy Neighbor. This youth program is to support the inner city youth in the Aurora, Co. area. We want to be able to donate 15% of our weekly sales to Love Thy Neighbor so kids 3rd through 5th grade can have help with homework.
Here at Miss Millie's Kitchen we love to partner with schools/youth organizations for fundraisers. We love to see the youth of our future grow and be able to have opportunities that a lot of us had growing up. We partner with schools/ youth organizations to raise money for field trips, after school programs, and community programs our youth can go to on the weekends for a minimum fee or no fee at all.
We will only attempt to deliver one time after that order will be cancel and partial refund will be giving. Eventhough pick ups are schedule please allow is 15 minutes to 30 minutes to receive a pick up notification. Unfortunately some days are more busier then others and we won't to make sure everything we make is to your satisfaction.

This place is amazing. They catered for a party of 16 people. Easy communication beforehand, the food arrived on time with a very polite delivery person. THE FOOD IS SO GOOD. Shrimp and grits, chicken and waffles, fried catfish, wow! We ordered a large carrot cake which was the best carrot cake I have ever had. We also ordered a banana pudding cake which was the best cake I’ve ever had. Really impressed with Miss Millie.

Miss Millie not so great, she said she would make a cake for my grandson this past weekend July 24th. She texted and said we would have to pick up the cake by 9am because she had a catering event that day, which was no problem. Went to where she said she was going to be, she was not there. Went to her store off of Colfax thinking maybe there was a miscommunication so after 4 trips back and forth no luck! We called left a message, texted and emailed her. No response at all ! I would of rather her contacted us to say she just could not get it done. So we had to end up getting a cake from Target.

We used Miss Millie's to cater my soul food craving wife's Baby Shower. They were absolutely amazing. Their food is no joke, it was fantastic. The caterer was always super responsive, answering all of my last minute questions, and went out of their way to provide an excellent service. I couldn't recommend more. P.s. try the Mac n Cheese.

The food was wonderful. My catfish dinner was outstanding. Catfish coated with perfectly seasoned fish fry, fish itself was hot and perfectly cooked. The red beans and rice was full of flavor and the greens were some of the best I’ve had. My mom got the crab boudin balls and they were crazy delicious. Definitely returning.

Miss Millie's catered lunch for our entire school. It was SOOO DELICIOUS! Chef Shawny is so friendly, professional, and punctual. We have a huge staff and because of COVID, she had to pack 160 boxed lunches. She has every kind of option available! Highly recommend Miss Millie's, check her out. She is amazing!

I discovered this food truck through a friend on fb. I have been back so many times since then. Chef Shawny's food is amazing. I haven't liked any fish since elementary school but her whiting and catfish is sooo good. I'm also not a fan of bananas but I've had her banana pie and it's delicious. You can't go wrong with whatever you order from her. I swear I can taste the love in her food. Whether it's a seafood boil, cabbage, red beans and rice, fish or whatever it will be great. You will definitely get your money's worth as well.
