Services
We are a small firm in Seattle, Washington, that was founded in 2018 and continues to grow in scope and impact. Our attorneys are deeply rooted in the metro area, often volunteering in their communities. Our practice's dual focus includes both commercial litigation and transactional matters in business and estate law.
Luis is from the Philippines and obtained his first degree in law from the University of Eastern Philippines. In 2015, he moved to Michigan to be with his wife, Lauren, whom he met while she was serving in the Peace Corps in the Philippines. They went westward for Luis to study his Master of Laws degree at the University of Washington and quickly fell in love with camping and hiking in the Pacific Northwest.
Todd earned his undergraduate degree in economics at Washington State University and his law degree at Seattle University School of Law. Before attending law school, Todd served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps.
During law school, Todd was a member of the Moot Court Board and took part in externship programs with the legal department of a large technology company headquartered in Seattle and in the chambers of the Honorable John P. Erlick in King County Superior Court.

Many attorneys learn about motion practice, trial advocacy and other aspects of litigation in law school but then spend their careers trying to avoid the courtroom. That is not the way we have developed our careers. While growing our transactional law practice, we have remained sharp and ready to go to battle on behalf of our clients, never losing the passion that led each of us to study law and go into private practice.
We can provide general counsel services for smaller companies or startups. We have a variety of flexible retainers. There is a science to it! Contracts must contain all the necessary elements and balance the interests of the parties. We can provide advice on contracts and opinions of counsel for executive use.

When I was confronted with a contract dispute, the team at Cisneros Wheat stepped in and helped me navigate the sometimes confusing landscape of a civil litigation. Not only did they help me to avoid having to take the issue all of the way to trial, but they helped me to get a fairly favorable outcome.
