As others have said, I spent many wasted months debating whether or not to file for bankruptcy, thinking it would be a very long, drawn-out, and ultimately humiliating process. I finally contacted Richard Symmes in March 2020 and started the procedure. A week after filing, the Covid-19 crisis reared its ugly head, and I feared my suit would be dismissed.
