At Emerald Law Group, we are experienced and dedicated Seattle trip and fall attorneys. Most trip and fall injuries happen when someone falls while on a city sidewalk or on someone else's property. The terms "trip and fall" is commonly used to describe the mechanism of injury. Whenever you enter a business or walk down a city street, the property owner or municipality is required to make sure you are safe and not subject to any unreasonable harm.
City sidewalk falls can happen at any time. Every city, municipality, and county in Washington has a duty to maintain sidewalks in a safe manner for use by the public. Unfortunately, it is common to see our sidewalks in poor conditions with portions buckling and creating trip hazards. As a rule of thumb, any rise of one-half inch or more is considered a hazard to pedestrians making use of the sidewalks.
Whenever you enter a business or stroll on the sidewalk you may encounter a trip and fall hazard. When you walk down a city sidewalk or through a store, you are not required by the law to always keep your eyes trained on your feet or the ground scanning for danger. Property owners are required, however, to keep the aisles, entrances, exits, and pathways or sidewalks free from any hazards that could cause you to trip and fall.
If you rent or are a guest at a rental property, the landlord or property owner is required to keep common areas of the apartment complex or rental property free from hazards and dangerous conditions. In Washington, common areas include areas such as shared laundry rooms, stairs, fire escapes, entrances, hallways, lobbies and other areas that are shared by all the tenants.

Donna Mack was the one who helped me every step of the way. Was ruthless with L&I after I got T-boned at work. Got me the money and medical work I was deserved and got me back on my feet. This law firm is completely incompetent and two of theses attorneys who works for them should be disbarred from practicing law Justin dale and micheal Gustafson!!
They didn't comply with court orders and court rules willfully lied to me the client and tried to cover it up and has willfully violated rules of professional conduct which will be outlined in a bar complaint and a lawsuit pending!!
I would NOT recommend this law office to my worse enemy!!

This law firm and its attorneys breached its contract with me!! Did not follow state and local court rules and tried to cover there tracks. Lied to me on a number of occasions and much much more!!

I was injured in an car collision and negotiated with the claims adjuster on the settlement for many months. When I thought I would not be able to get a higher settlement offer I decided to reach out to some lawyers again about representation, in case the offer I got was not a fair amount to compensate for the injuries. I called Emerald Law Group and spoke with a paralegal who collected basic info about my injury and was connected to attorney Justin Dale right away.
