Trauma and addiction have an intimate and destructive relationship; it cuts a path of destruction for generations in the lives of many, leaving hopes and dreams unfulfilled, families shattered, and lives lost to this deadly combination. Seafield Center and Seafield Services are committed to providing trauma informed and addictions treatment with a specialized concentration on the needs of our Uniformed Service Members and First Responders.
We believe that sharing our experience and knowledge about the disease of alcoholism and substance abuse with others in the treatment community, and with the community at large, is an important form of outreach that furthers our mission. For this reason Seafield has established a Training Center located in Amityville, NY.
Seafield Center is a 100-bed inpatient drug and alcohol detox and rehabilitation facility for men and women over the age of 16. When a client arrives at Seafield, they will receive a thorough medical assessment. Protocol for detox will be established at this time. Nurses are available 24 hours every day.

Seafield is a one of a kind rehab facility they treat u as if u are family without the help they provided me i don’t know where i would be today. I was literally at the break of death when i walked into seafield in august i didn’t know what i was going to do with my life but the people at seafield Mike Lisa Derek Al Anthony Danny Laila Erin and the whole staff gave me hope. I recommend anyone that has a problem with addiction go to seafield they are the best in the game from the time you walk into the facility to the time u leave they never stop caring. The food is amazing not like the other

Eileen F, Leila, Al, Justine saved my life. Some of the staff were just very unprofessional and you could tell they hated their job. The food wasn’t terrible I was grateful to have food and a bed and a roof over my head so I couldn’t complain too much. My primary counselor did absolutely nothing for me genuinely. Some of the staff that was brought in on weekends Marlenea specifically was nothing but horrible definitely left me a bad taste in my mouth and dreaded going to her lectures. The nurse staff absolutely phenomenal especially Emily!! She was lovely. Renee definitely made a huge impact

Seafield gave me the tools I needed to set my life back on the right track. I went into seafield inpatient in the beginning of 2020. The councilors are amazing caring people, Chester, Layla and Justine to name a few.
I went to inpatient for the answers but left with the tools to find my own life answers. Without this program, I would not be alive today.
When I went to inpatient, I had nothing left, I was at a dead-end in life. Today I own multiple businesses and have a baby on way with my wife. This program has given me life and I will be forever grateful for what this program has given me.

Seafeild is a great rehab they helped me drastically I learned a lot about myself while I was there. I learned a lot about my disease and most of all the staff were very nice and helpful. It’s how you make it if you don’t want to be there then yeah you’ll have a “bad” experience but if you make the most of it your stay will be wonderful. If you’re anything like me and are using against your will and want to stop but can’t do yourself the favor like I did and disassociate yourself from society and go here it will change your life.

One of the best places I have ever been in. When I say all staff are great from the Admissions department all the way to Housekeeping. The staff are emotionally supportive and always have a door open to chat. The Food service department do a wonderful job in preparing the food. They usually meet you with a smile. The nursing staff are very patience with you. I highly recommend Seafield to anyone who wants help.

AWESOME !!! Seafield Center…
Made a big deference in allowing our son
to get on track, now clean for a 1 1/2 years.
It was a month stay at Seafield…
When he got out…
He had also a great support team with the family
And many prayers… we are grateful !!!
Praise be to God !!!
He did 5 days of detox at St Charles Hospital
Than went on to Seafield.
Our son was a total lost soul !
Working in construction and hooked
On pain killers.
We rescued him out of PA where he was living & working ! We were blessed to intercede when we did.
We would of lost him !!!

I was there twice, 1992, 2016.... Great staff, I'd give it 5 stars if they had separated Mandated court app. people with the people that are there To stay stay sober to save their lives like myself. The mandated ones were just disruptive throughout our seminars. Still sober almost 5 years, one day at a time. Say hi to Lester, great man. God Bless u Seafield...... Will G.

Overcrowded, jail food, 20% of staff hate their job, everything costs $ at extreme markeup . I decided to leave and my counselor called and said, your all good but need to leave today. I called phelps to confirm and they never heard from her and she gave my personal info to who knows where !!! I am suing them for many reasons , but most staff are great, it's the patients who are suffering ...DO NOT BELIEVE THE PICS OR WHAT THEY TELL YOU!! THEY JUST WANT THE MONEY!!!
Please, stay away.... unless you deal drugs, you will make a killing..........
THIS IS NO BS....

Have been to Seafield several times since my first time in 1998. The food, staff and accommodations are excellent. The staff is great and you can get lots out of the program if u want it. I was there last time 5 years ago and I now have almost 4 years clean sober and cigarette / vape free. I think they do allow smoking and also do detox services there too. Some of the staff have been there since I was there my first time! The place dosent really change. Def one of the best rehabs I’ve been to and I been to a lot.
