At Visionary Optometry of Long Island, each member of our vision care team is selected by Dr. Jennifer Ceonzo based upon his or her experience, professional demeanor, and dedication to providing personalized care to our optometry patients. Our entire Melville optometry staff is committed to ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of each and every patient.
Vision therapy is treatment using lenses and prisms to improve the way eyes team together, keep images clear when changing our gaze near to far, and develop smooth accurate movements when tracking moving objects and words on a page. It is designed to resolve vision problems that can make it harder or uncomfortable to use our vision to do computer work, school work, driving, or sports.
Dr. Ceonzo has been in practice since 2002, providing comprehensive eye exams, developmental vision therapy, sports vision therapy, and visual rehabilitation for patients of all ages.
After completing her optometry degree at SUNY College of Optometry, where she was awarded the Frederick Brock Memorial Award for Outstanding Clinical Performance in Vision Therapy, Dr. Ceonzo continued her education with a Residency at the Veterans Hospital in Northport, NY, specializing in Vision Therapy, Low Vision Rehabilitation, and Ocular Disease.

The knowledgeable staff at Visionary Optometry of Long Island will help you with the information you need to take advantage of your out of network benefits you may have for your medical insurance providers. We will work to help you get the documentation of medical necessity that your insurance may require.
It uses progressive vision exercises performed under the supervision of your eye care provider. Each set of exercises is tailored to meet the individual visual needs of a patient. These exercises are done 1-2 times per week in sessions lasting 30 minutes to a full hour. The exercises are designed to continue until visual processing problems show improvement.

Dr. Jen is kind, caring, and compassionate. She took the time to work one on one to meet the needs of my daughter, customizing every session we had together. She is responsive and explains in depth the reasons behind the exercises and therapies she chooses to use during each session. You will leave there fully informed. I highly recommend Dr. Jen for all your vision needs.

A few short months ago we entered Dr Jen's office with concerns for my daughter's vision to come to find she was seeing double along with other difficulties. With the hard work and dedication of Dr. Jen my daughter today graduated from her program with a complete transformation. It is because of her we have gotten to this level, her extreme hard work and dedication to her patients and practice goes above and beyond any doctor I have seen. She whole heartedly loves what she does and it shows. I would highly recommend anyone seeing her who have concerns with their or their childs own vision difficulties
