This philosophy was evident when they brought a real Volkswagen Beetle into the center so residents could get reacquainted with the act of driving as well as entering and leaving a vehicle, and when they unveiled a new "home" built inside the center with a complete kitchen, bedroom set, washer and dryer, staircase and bathroom, so residents can practice the everyday tasks they will need to return home.

VERY professional, clean, friendly, accommodating. Ample parking is a huge plus. My husband's Uncle will be well-cared-for here. This rehab center is astonishing. From the friendly staff, to the clean rooms, and daily activities my mother is enjoying. It is more than we all expected. There are lots of things igoing on.

The Massapequa Center Rehabilitation facility is an excellent resource for people recovering from major surgeries and illness. The staff is very efficient and compassionate. The physical therapy staff really take the patient's healing to heart. The nurses and care staff provide care that is over and above what is required.

The staff is very helpful and they take the time to make sure you get all the help you need. The PT is fantastic my wife was very nervous at first but the PT took the time to calm her down and now she is up and walking. The meals she gets are top shelf. I will definitely recommend this place for your loved ones.

My mom is in the long term garden unit. I visit her 3-5 times a week. She ALWAYS looks well cared for. She is always clean and has fresh clothes on. I get update phone calls from time to time on her progress from therapists, nutritionists, Dr’s and nurses. She has dimentia so she can’t really tell me if she’s happy but I am completely happy with the care she is receiving.

I’ve worked for a nursing home for over 30 yrs, so when I write this review, I know what I’m talking about! Beautiful place, wonderful people very caring, social and always did more for me than I expected. From the minute I was wheeled in, to the minute I left, I was happy. Very accommodating, and clean. Nursing director and supervisors were so on point with my care, following thru with any possible issues. Nurses were so kind explaining all my meds and care. The CNAS were sweet, funny and never made me feel like a burden. I was there for PT who were professional, encouraging, and answered

I was a bit reluctant to place my husband Charles in this facility, so I asked my friend who had recently been there what she thought. She replied that it was “adequate”. Much to my surprise and delight I found that my husband was treated with care and kindness from everyone in the Cedar Unit. The nurses and aides were all very attentive. He went for PT, and everyday I watched him get better. Today I brought him home in much better condition, so here’s 3 cheers to Massapequa Center for Rehabilitation!! Be assured that we will recommend this facility to all who ask.
