Communication Therapies is a team of NYS licensed therapists and certified educators who provide services across Long Island for children with developmental needs. Speech and Feeding Therapy, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Educational services, and Nutrition Counseling are offered in both individual and/or group settings in a highly supportive and caring environment.
We are an approved NYS provider of Early Intervention* Services for children from birth to three years. In addition, we collaborate with local school districts to provide Related Therapy Services for Preschoolers from ages three to five. Our dedicated professionals work closely with parents to help children reach their milestones.

Services
Licensed Speech Language Pathologist with over 25 years of experience and owner and operator of Communication Therapies. Maureen specializes in treating feeding delays and motor speech disorders for infants, toddlers and preschool children. She operates feeding groups for the picky eater as well as the problem feeder.
Speech and Language Therapy addresses delays in language development and speech skills. Our office specializes in feeding and motor speech delays and have PROMPT trained therapists available. Education Services are provided on an individual basis and in groups. Special instruction can help your child improve attention, learn and problem-solve through play and expand their cognitive skills.
Do you have concerns about your child's development? All children are different and each has unique strengths and needs. We are here to assess their skills and determine if they need some help along the way to reach their developmental milestones. Watches objects and faces, smiles and coos, cries when hungry or uncomfortable, enjoys bathtime, brings hands together, grasps an object placed in their hand.
