Services
Marty and Marti Yura have been married for over 30 years. VISTA YOGA is their "4th" child, so it seems. It is truly a dream realized for (Ms) Marti, as she has had a vision for a sacred space to share the gifts of Yoga. We've designed one of Atlanta's first "Green Yoga" centers. Our finishes, our day-to-day operations, and our retail products were all chosen with sustainability in mind.
Yoga is a path to physical, mental and spiritual well-being. It allows us to look at our strengths and weaknesses through the lens of non-judgment. It gives one the tools to find balance and live a more vibrant life. Practice offers the opportunity to explore, translate and then apply what you learn "on the mat" to your life "off the mat".
Each class is carefully guided with attention to alignment and safety. The postures and movements allow you to leverage your body to resist gravity to develop greater strength, as well as to yield to gravity, elongate the spine and open joint spaces to release held tension. We will guide students to a place of openness and equanimity they did not know was possible.
Work with specific physical limitations or injuries while gaining the benefits of yoga practice. Design your practice around the areas of the body and yoga postures that you are most interested in exploring. If you're Interested in setting up a session or learning more about what private yoga sessions can offer you, please contact us.
If you decide to purchase a multi-class pack on the same day, you can apply the $20 toward the price of the pack. In the event a Multi-Class Pack expires, you can either "buy back" the remaining unused classes for $3 per class, OR have the remaining unused classes added to a new Multi-Class Pack purchase.

Vista Yoga is awesome! I’ve been going to the All-levels class on Saturday for a couple years and it has helped me so much. Marty is so kind and loving and is always helping me with the poses.

I’ve attended a number of classes and chanting/New Year’s Eve events at Vista Yoga. The folks who run the place and clientele are always kind and courteous. You can tell they genuinely care, and practice what they preach.
Compared to other studios I’ve attended in the Atlanta area, the teachers seem to be more well-versed in the true intentions of the yoga practice. It’s always about showing up how you are today, and gently nudging yourself in a happier and healthier direction.
Mind you, I have not attended any of the more advanced classes, so I cannot speak on them. However, I have every

My pelvic floor therapist recommended that I start practicing yoga to support our work together. When I arrived for my very first yoga class, ‘Gentle Yoga’ with Patty Schmidt, I was greeted with sincere warmth and welcomed by one of the studio’s owners, Marty. I felt completely at ease and safe with the social distancing and other COVID safety measures.
The class itself was a revelation to me-Intrinsically relaxing while also challenging me to harness that feeling to go deeper. Patty was absolutely wonderful-Serene, encyclopedically knowledgeable, encouraging, generous in spirit...She took

I visit this studio for Reiki. I sometimes purchase ready to wear and accessories from the studio. My last visit, I shopped the clearance rack (sign denoted all items on rack 50% off). After deciding to purchase the hooded shirt, the price was not reduced as per the sign. The studio's owner communicated the shirt would not be reduced because the red number indicated the final price. This was not indicated on the sign. I suggested a percentage should be given for the error. The owner, never turning away from engaging in her cell phone, replied, "You do not have to buy it, love. Many people look

This class was so outstanding that I can't wait to take another one. I found Vista Yoga on ClassPass. To be honest, I had registered for TWO other Yin classes consecutively that both forgot to upload their streaming link. It was so frustrating. I had low confidence when I booked Vista Yoga, but third time is the charm! They were totally efficient with their livestream communication and I was so happy.

Sheila's Yin class was small but mighty. I immediately resonated with her calm, soothing nature, which resonated brightly even through the screen. So often, I find myself disappointed with

I absolutely love everything about Vista Yoga! Marti and Marty are wonderful, as are the other instructors I have taken classes from. There are so many options of classes and workshops and the care and dedication is obvious in everything these instructors do. An absolutely wonderful studio.

I'm a little sad I dont live in Decatur, this has been one of my favorite studios I've visited. My sister and I took three of the All Levels classes while visting with three different teachers. Each class was completely unique while still offering a wonderful blend of flow and more restorative postures. The teachers were genuine and helpful with their practices, the space was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. I practice yoga ridiculously regularly while my sister takes classes quite sporadically and both of us fell in love with the space. Thanks for having us, Vista!

Well, I've heard about this place for years and even knew 2 of the yoga teachers, one who's no longer there, I took some yoga classes at my gym Northeast Athletic Club and I was like, hmmm, there has to be more. Well for $49.00 you get unlimited class attendence for a month. Wow, my times in pool and on bike have decreased quite a bit. My PR on bike is now a normal time, and I've increased my workload in the pool. I thot all the peeps @ the studio would all be standing on their head and OM'm and I'd walk in and they'd all point and laugh. Nope, all kinds of people

Vista Yoga is not only a wonderful place to learn and practice yoga, but it is also a great place if you're a photographer or videographer and need to rent studio space. I am an Atlanta based photographer who has rented one of the studios for four different magazine photo shoots. I love shooting there because of the high ceilings and overall feel of the studio. It is a peaceful environment and the staff is wonderful to work with!

It's a very warm and welcoming environment, they also have lots of mats and props that you can use, very spacious. The overall atmosphere is one of peace and tranquility.

I attended my very first yoga class here, which was led by Mr. Marty and what can I say, it was such an experience! As a first time yoga-er I believe that this class was great. Not too hard, not too easy. Perfectly balanced.

I came across this yoga studio as an option on "Class Pass." My roommate has a membership with them and was able to send me a coupon code allowing me a free class, which was awesome!

The class lasted a little bit over a hour, which definitely flew by. They provide all of the materials needed: mats, belts, blocks, etc. (no need to purchase, they come included in

My kid and I purchased the 3 class first time student package and we have tried a variety of classes (usually on Sundays). I like it because of the real authentic feel and the great teachers--
Unfortunately, my daughter wants something more fast paced---back breaking kind of yoga.
I like the location, the parking and will definitely come back.

I hate to go against all the glowing, five star reviews of this yoga studio, but I just didn't love it.

The things I did love: tons of free parking (drive around behind Napoleon's), super mellow/relaxed vibe (no pretension here), and a very welcoming, friendly and helpful receptionist made check-in a breeze. The studio is calming from the moment you walk in, and I loved the beautiful artwork for sale. They also have truly beginner classes and cater to all ability levels. Lots of yoga studios "say" that, but here at Vista, they actually have stand alone gentle yoga and

I have been 4 times the last two months and tried the all levels class and the resorative class, both with Marti. She is an amazing instructor! Kind, gentle, and very helpful. If you are new at yoga or inexperienced, go to Vista. They're so nice and there is no competition during class.

I went to Vista Yoga and took their 7:30pm Wednesday class (called Gentle/Restorative Yoga). It was an hour and a half long and was not physically intensive--the movements we did were mainly stretches. There were probably about 15 people in my class and it was a diverse crowd--some young, some old, some new to yoga, some yogis, etc. The studio was wonderful--it's small and quiet with fountains, lots of mosses and flowers, and chimes outside of the door. Immediately when you walk inside, you see that the lights are dim, the space is covered in beautiful decorations in deep colors, and everybody

As a transplant from NYC, I struggled for a while with the relative lack of yoga studio options in ATL. But what I really cared about was quality, not quantity. And this place has that, bigtime. The instructors are great-- smart, clear, with well-thought-out sequences (so far I've enjoyed Shonali's, Elizabeth's, and Marti's classes). The vibe here is mellow but organized, and the space has a well-cared for feel to it. Seems to attract a nice, laid-back crowd that's serious about yoga but not self-important about it. Special sweet bonus: there's almost always little

I purchased the 3 class "first time student" package, which is a great option to get acquainted with the studio. Having tried a variety of classes now, I can tell you that the practices are as challenging as you want/need them to be. All of the instructors that I've taken a class with have shown incredible attention to each student while not sacrificing the quality of the overall practice.

The space is quite lovely - large, open and comfortable. As others have noted, there are always enough mats and props to go around. This is just a very, very welcoming place.

I took a class with Tra and was immediately in love. She infuses her class with humour, motherly kindness, and reverence. I was challenged by the class and was happy to note that Tra kept accessible even to beginners. I strongly recommend taking a class with her. She's incredible.

I was in Atlanta for three months this summer and after researching and attending several yoga studios around the area, I was very fortunate to find Vista Yoga. In only three months of taking Marti's classes, I learned more than I have ever learned about yoga, breath, body, thai massage, and movement. She is an amazing teacher, and person who truly enjoys what she does. I will miss this studio but for all you living in Atlanta, I highly recommend you take classes at this studio with Marti, her husband, Marty, Todd, and Jocelyn. If you liked yoga before, you will learn to love it and if you
