We are glad you are here. We are more than a yoga studio, we are a sigh of relief, a shoulder to lean on, a laugh to share and warm hug. As one of the oldest studios in Sugar Land and Fort Bend, our instructors are some of the best trained, most experienced, and definitely most compassionate teachers around.
Reservations are required at least one-hour before class. Currently classes are limited to only 18 spots with 5 wait list spots. No Shows will forfeit the class on their pass OR unlimited packages will be charged a $10 no show fee. You must sign up for in studio classes no later than 1 hours before class begins and no later than 15 minutes for live-stream classes.

Learn to teach what you love and dive deeper into your yoga practice with our 200-hour Yoga Alliance approved Vinyasa Teacher Training. This training is delivered via videos, online lectures, online classes, live classes (on your schedule), and live meetings for Q&A and feedback. Our virtual training is delivered via our online learning platform.

Awakened Yoga is Awesome! The instructors and students are very welcoming and the studio has great community spirit. The studio offers beginners classes as well as classes for advanced students. I started at Awakened Yoga after having a stroke in my mid 40's. Awakened Yoga has helped me gain strength and balance which has allowed me to do all the things I did pre-stroke. All ages of students practice here and they offer children's programs as well. Great Place !

Community At It's Best! During all the chaos and upset during the months of lockdown the one constant for me was Awakened Yoga. No matter where I took class, on zoom or in studio I always felt a sense of community, belonging and warmth. Grace and her team did everything they could to provide members and guests with quality yoga no matter what. WOW!!! There are truly no words to describe the feeling of comfort, community and passion that reverberates through this studio. At a time when I desperately needed a loving environment, Awakened was there for me.
Not only does this studio have an amazing staff, but also extremely educated instructors that are supportive, passionate and creative. This place has such a great energy, yet is a professional environment that has incredible management, in my experience.

Absolutely the BEST yoga studio. The instructors, staff, location, cost, parking, cleanliness, and how they pivoted during COVID is amazing.
They have class for any level of yogi. I started with the "flow basics" classes that are slow, purposeful movement with lots of explanation. There were people in that class from age 20s to 80s. You do not have to have ANY experience to take that class and the instructors are great at explaining each pose and corrections you need to make.
After some practice, I wanted more of a challenge and went to "flow" classes which move faster. Then I began practicing

I have been coming here for little over a year. I have been extremely satisfied with the diverse class offerings. The staff and teachers are all very friendly and gracious.
Running a business, most of my time is spent at my work so flexible classes are really important to me. I enjoy the 5:30 AM class offering and also the late 8:00 PM classes. My boyfriend has an even busier schedule than I do and yet they were very accommodating and made a late Friday night private session happen for us! :)
Yoga in general has given me so much peace, eased my lower back and hip pain and gives me time to reflect

This is a super convenient location in the Sugar Land area. I have been to several different formats of their classes and all the instructors that I have met have been friendly and helpful. Nobody has been pushy with sales at any of their local promotional events and their website is always up to date with new offerings. My wife enjoyed the prenatal yoga when it was offered and I usually enjoy stopping in for a flow class whenever my spine is becoming unhappy with me. I would recommend it for anyone in the area.

Fantastic place to jump start a yoga practice. I tried the new student special for one month of unlimited classes. Every instructor’s class was great and easily adapted for a beginner like me. Not once did I hear that I was “doing it wrong”. My favorite are the Restorative Yoga classes and VinYin classes. The teachers are very knowledgeable about the practice and create a soothing environment for deep relaxation. This is the best therapy I’ve tried for my anxiety. I highly recommend this studio.

I have been to gyms, clubs and all of it for years. I am older now and have once again gotten myself out of shape. I have lost flexibility. The thought of going back to a gym just was not working for me. I had a friend suggest yoga. I tried a place or two. It was not until I came to Awakened Yoga did I feel like I am welcome just as I am. They offer many different types of classes. Hot, room temperature, on water, fast, slow, and even restorative. There is such a variety of instructors that offer years of guidance, personal attention, personalized modifications to help you grow into your own yoga

There is nothing quite like this studio- you definitely should experience it for yourself. Yoga classes are top notch and some of the best I've been to as we are always encouraged to try moves and it never feels forced. The energy of the teachers, staff and owner is so refreshing on it's own. They are always kind and helpful. I appreciate that even on a rough day when I was running late, they allowed me to still participate and join the class- which some studios do not do. Also, you can't beat the lavender towels at the end! :)
