A couple years ago, I was asked "why" I did what I did. At that time, I had just come back from maternity leave with my son who was about 3 months old and our daughter was about 2 1/2 years old. My husband is awesome but we both were starved for sleep and time. I had an amazing opportunity to grow in knowledge and experience through the company for whom I was currently working but I felt as though I needed more.
Your Physical Therapist will perform a holistic physical examination assessing your movement patterns, muscle tension and pain. With a full one hour session of one-on-one attention, we can perform what your body needs and show you how to take control. Your body moves and functions as a unit. Often we can create bad habits that feed into the problem without acknowledging it has occured.
In the state of Tennessee, Physical Therapists have direct access and can evaluate and treat you for a full 30 day plan of care without needing an order from a doctor. If we have not met your goals at that point in time, we will communicate with your doctor about a referral for continuing treatment.
Women's Health Physical Therapy incorporates assessing the spine, core, and hips as well as the pelvic floor muscles. With the additional education and certifications to be qualified as a Women's Health Physical Therapist, we are trained to assess the pelvic floor muscles. Your therapist will palpate (feel) with her finger whether your muscles are able to contract, hold, and relax.

After weeks of searching for answers during my postpartum recovery and after the traumatic birth of my son, i found Kelly on google! As i sit and write this 6 months after my first appointment, my eyes get filled with tears. I am sooo happy i found her. She helped this lost, scared, and confidence less new mama find the road to recovery. I would give anything if i would have found her during my pregnancy but I’m so happy i found her during my postpartum recovery. Don’t accept a lot of the postpartum realities as the “new normal.” Pain, leakage, and anything else is fixable and should not

Kelley has been the most helpful doctor I have ever seen. She is extremely proactive and will do anything not just for physical therapy but to find other providers to make sure you are completely cared for in physical and mental health. Kelley is extremely easy to work with and always makes sure you are comfortable no matter what. I highly recommend her for a Physical Therapist.

Kelly does an amazing job. I’m a Physician Assistant and I trust Kelly with my own care as well as my patients. She has found several issues that trigger my tension headaches and is working with me to correct the problem in a way no medicine can. I highly recommend her. She is very knowledgeable in so many areas! I also love the length of time she spends with her patients. On top of that, she truly wants the best for her patients and puts her whole heart into her work. She’s amazing!

Out of five stars she is deserving of six stars! Kelly has so much knowledge for her Physical Therapy. Y’all if I have any discomfort in my muscles that I cannot fix by stretching on my own I call Kelly and get an appointment for her to help me decide a plan of action. I have been to her for pelvic floor PT after having both of my boys and she has helped me get myself back together. She has been given healing powers from God I truly believe. God has given her such a breadth of knowledge in her field and discretion, compassion and kindness. She is mine and Clay’s first call for PT and I hope
