If they didn’t rush you through, got off their cell phones, and not bully you from getting what you ask for, they’d be ok at best. My nails and toes were not the color I initially asked for, I specifically wanted them to match and they totally don’t. I couldn’t enjoy the pedicure because the pushy nail girl on her cell phone had to do my hands at the same time. It was very uncomfortable and was very expensive than other places. I feel like I wasn’t treated professionally and I feel cheated because I have an event I told them I was preparing for and I feel like my nails look absolutely

My mom and I have been going to Tiffany for about a year and a half and absolutely love her! She is not only AMAZING at doing nails but also extremely sweet. I have tried several nail salons over the years and Tiffany is by far the best nail tech i’ve ever been to. She always knows exactly what I want and does an amazing job.

Been going to this place since I arrived in Jax 2016. Finally had enough. The modern decor and the convenient location to my home kept me coming. Owner, Ann was my preferred tech but over time, her work became sloppy and attitude rude and nasty. My daughter preferred her best tech, LaLa, who also kept us coming for years, but she recently resigned this year. Last straw, were two awful nail sets and cut cuticles, so bad, I didn't want to pay for them and I knew it was time to simply find someplace new. I hated to do that but the only thing going great for this place is it's modern aesthetic

I've been there twice now. I definitely like the way my nails were done. Altho I was told my appointment was at 4 and ended up waiting til 5. I asked for a specific design which she said she could do and would be 30$, but when she started it looked terrible and so we wiped it off. Instead of that being that she did some random stuff that I did not ask for and still charged me 30$. I will still return, but if you want specially done nails you may want to find somewhere else who can do cute designs.

I have been going here for almost 3 years and it used to be consistent, the last few visits I have been disappointed every time. I’ll ask for round narrow nails and come out with chicklets on my fingers. Short and square. I mean if you do nails you have to at least know the difference. I am in the beauty industry too so I am very focused on giving my clients what they want. I used this place because it was closest to my home but I will be going elsewhere.

Visiting Jacksonville Beach and didn't have time to get a pedi at home before we left. Modish Nail Salon is a gem! The decor is nice and modern with a good selection of nail colors. The chairs give a strong massage and Dori and Luna did amazing Royal Pedicures on my daughter and I. I highly recommend and will come back again!

Management appears not to endorse or enforce standard hygiene and customary safety precautions such as using sterilized or auto-claved tools for each patron, cleaning manicure area surfaces between patrons, cleaning bowls used for soaking fingers or changing the water in them between patrons. In my 30s This was my place to escape the long hard days of work, grueling Masters program, or an argument, or just a pamper treat for myself. I don’t usually set up nail appointments, and I love modish because they usually get started within just a few minutes of my arrival, which is fantastic! I don’t have a consistent nail tech, but they all do a fabulous job. It’s pretty quick too and a pretty decent price!

I called from across the street to see if they could fit me in, and the girl on the phone was very friendly and said to come on over. They were extremely busy so I had to wait a few, but this was v reasonable without an appointment. Services were quick, which I really prefer, and I was happy with my Mani and Pedi. I will return.

Asked for SNS dip and ended up getting MMA or something a lot cheaper (never really got SNS so didn't understand what was happening lol) :) , only found out when I went back to my own nail salon when they took it off. Modish also had me pay the same price as for dip SNS.

I love Modish Nails for their cleanliness, prices and quality. I live in Charleston, SC and try to make it to my next (quote frequent) visit to my sis in Jacksonville to get nails done. I highly recommend them to anyone in the area or to those traveling through town and want nails that last because of the careful application. The lady got the color I did not choose. It was a color with lots of glitters, I said I do not like it. Instead of changing it because she just started painting my nails, she insisted that she will top it off with the color I will choose. This is her profession, I trusted her. But I know for a fact that she is being lazy to undo it...
The outcome I have nail powder polish with scattered, uneven glitters! It was not worth it paying the $35.

This is by far a much better experience the first time I came it was a less than good experience but today I had appointment with Anne she was exceptional she was so kind and did a fabulous job on my hands I will definitely be back the prices were very fair and everyone was distancing and sanitizing. It is definitely a place I will return to regularly. This just shows we all have a bad day thank you for being so good to me Anne

I got a gel manicure and the very next day finger polish was cracked and coming off. I went back and they repolished the one finger nail free of charge. Then, the next day the other nails were peeling and coming off. Gel polish should last at least 2 weeks if not more. Unfortunately, this was the 2nd time I had this experience with them. My daughter also had the SNS and the same thing happened it cracked and chipped within a couple of days. I used to love going to this place but I think it has gone downhill. I won't be back.

We had an manicure and pedicure and are very unhappy with the final result . We were rushed and they cut out nails square with very little filing and barely trimmed our cuticles. The place was not busy so I don't understand the rush to do our manicures from our pedicure chairs . It was a very poor job. The polish was all over our cuticles and when asked to cover a bare spot on one of my finger nails, the lady said I smudged it when I had not moved at all. She was quite rude. My guests polish was still smudging hours later so not worth the money.

I came in to get Christmas sns nails with my friend that lives down the street :) ! Started out okay, lots of employees in the salon, not a lot of customers. Ryan was the man who did my nails. Super friendly and didn't speak much English. Once my nails were drying he tried to give me a back massage (I got really creeped out). Time passes and it's now 4 days later.... This is my second time at the location. Guy whose name was D gave me SNS sets and I was unsatisfied. He had a terrible attitude and rushed through my nails ignoring my requests. I told him I don't like long nails and instead of trimming them he gave the file two swipes and grunted. I asked him a second time and he did the same thing. Sides were not filed down well and neat enough especially for the price considering the powder isn't SNS powder brand as written on menu.. He also nicked me multiple times. Another customer mentioned he had an attitude. Pedicure was nice I wasn't offered

I've been looking for a nail salon since moving to Jacksonville. Luckily, I found modiSH Nails & Spa. They're located off of Beach and Hodges, so you can do some shopping before or after getting your nails done. The salon is kept really clean and airy. They use a new tub liner for every customer. And their massage chairs are pretty good - I like how it has these side things that actually squeeze you from the sides, just a little extra oomph for those who like to knead out all their stress. I was able to walk in with my husband and my daughter and get a pedicure right away. My hubby and I are getting pedicures. My daughter just painting her nails.
The location is very convenient for us and so are the hours.
The place looks brand new. Modern decor. Clean lines. I love the color scheme.
The pedicure chairs are amazing. I love the way they hug my body.
The prices add standard for this area. The classic is $23. The deluxe is $30. Then they have the OPI one for $38( I think it's the same as the deluxe but using OPI only products)
