This lawyer was not corrupt, but I payed him huge amounts of money for him to defend me from my ex husband. But he never defended me. Half of the hearings he did not show up, he sent his assistant. And when he was there, he made me agree to the other lawyers preposterous propositions. He is a very bad lawyer and I do not recommend him for any family court cases.

I found out a son I raised, who is 10 years old was not my biological son. I had two DNA test which came back 0% no connection that he was my son.
After his mom, my X confirmed, that I was not the biological father agreed to take me off all the legal and physical responsibility and Parental rights Mr. Derick Austin who was the lawyer, which was released June 12, 2020 that was representing the child wanted requested to put the child through another 3rd dna test; not thinking for his well being. Whatever his reason is I don't know.
Both the mother and I wanted to move forward; he did

I called and reached their sales desk. We had several communications over the course of a few weeks. After they learned that we were not a a high-value client they stopped returning calls, despite saying that they would call back in a few days.
Many lawyers who specialize in personal injury and divorce operate this way. I would have hoped that Mr. Austin would at least have the decency to reply with an email, "sorry, we can't help". In our case they promised to call back and just blew us off. I called them and the sales person took a message which went right to the round

This law office was very effective and hard working for me in my family law case. My attorney, John Larson was very personable and attentive. I felt really concerned about, both case wise, and financialy. They worked quick and efficiant. I had some chips stacked against me but because of this attorney and firm, I prevailed. Thanks again guys great job.

Absolute waste of your money. The attorney informed me incorrectly, gave wrong advise and when writing something for me I had to correct facts and rewrite things. I wasted too much money with them until I had enough and switched to a different attorney office.
It says a lot when the attorney can't even wear clean clothes and does not know the law.

HORRIBLE nobody talks to each other within the company then bill YOU for their time to call you to ask about information that their "team" already has. Your attorney will NOT do much for you but run up the bill and ask questions about items already in their possesion. They will want double the amount in retainer before leaving their office but and when the case concludes dont think ANYTHING will go as speedy, your looking at about 2+ MONTHS to get the remainder of your balance. I would also double check your statements because they will also double charge and when you call they will respond

UPDATE: Today I got a call from a supervisor called Sandra Popp she apologized for all the miss-communications and told me that she has taken actions to prevent this from happening again.
She went through my complaint and fixed all the issues and made sure I am happy and would use them again.
So just for that I am changing my review from one star and thank GOD this company has Sandra :)
