Kelly Huck is an internationally known SUP Yoga instructor based in Southern California, USA. She founded SoCal Paddle Yoga, a floating yoga studio, close to home on Lake Mission Viejo in Orange County, California. Kelly has a degree in Accounting from the University of Southern California. She balances her full-time career as a Financial Consultant for Fortune 1000 companies with SoCal Paddle Yoga.

Kelly is a pioneer of SUP Yoga. Not only was she one of the first certified instructors when the sport was in its infancy in America, but Kelly also contributed to its evolution in Southeast Asia in the years that followed. Kelly is passionate about increasing the presence and popularity of SUP Yoga around the world in adults and especially in younger generations.
Services
If you've never paddled before, then we will teach you how to paddle. Not only will we teach you how to paddle, but the boards we use are made specifically for yoga and fitness on the water, so they are a lot more stable than a recreational board made for paddling. Every class begins on the sand where we teach you the basics of paddle technique before we head out on the water.
Learn to do a headstand on your SUP! Kelly Huck of SoCal Paddle Yoga creates ease where others might find tension. Our GROUP CLASSES are designed to meet any level of fitness or experience when it comes to Paddle or Yoga - or both! We limit each class to 10 students to give every one the attention they require and deserve on the water. Swimming is a prerequisite for all classes and the minimum age requirement for a group class is 12 years old.
PRIVATE CLASSES are customized by our certified instructors to the individual's or group's desire and skill level. Whether you want one-on-one instruction or an exclusive group class for your kids, friends, family, coworkers, or teammates - We cater to any occasion and can accommodate up to 10 people!
A PADDLE & A PINOT AT PEPPINO'S is a fabulous option. We paddle from North Beach across Lake Mission Viejo to Peppino's Italian Family Restaurant, park our boards at the dock, and go to Peppino's for beverages and a table full of mouthwatering appetizers. To top it off, we paddle back at sunset to where we launched at North Beach.

I was fortunate to come across an EXHILERATING workout and experience a Tranquil feeling of peace by attending Kelly's Paddle Yoga class this past weekend. Being a professional athlete in other sports I was very humbled to say the least trying to balance yoga poses on a paddleboard. But the experience was breathtaking and I am so thankful and excited that I have now signed up for a lot more classes to train and calm my spirit and soul . Gratitude , FIT, sensational workout for the body mind and soul!

This is an amazing experience with an extremely talented teacher. She is so good at providing the proper cues & ensuring your safety that it makes you go farther than you would in other classes. It is a beautiful experience and I am so glad to have found this floating yoga studio.

I came to SoCal Paddle Yoga for my first experience doing yoga in a paddle board, with minimal paddle boarding experience prior, and it was fantastic. We were waked through common yoga poses gradually and worked up to more challenging variations based on your comfort level. I would definitely recommend and would come back again!

Awesome SUP Yoga class. The instructor Kelly was very professional and was well prepared with the organization of class, paddle boards, and instruction of not only in how to paddle but the true practice of yoga. The experience of doing SUP yoga on the lake was a blast and also at the end trying out fun poses was unforgettable. I am glad to attend the class and will do again

Kelly was an incredible yoga instructor, especially for a first timer doing yoga on the paddleboard. She was attentive, descriptive and I felt comfortable the entire class. She talked us through every move slowly and helped even from her paddleboard. It was a blast, I highly recommend and will be going back!

Wow! what a pleasant surprise! I had no idea how fun doing yoga on a paddleboard would be. I'm familiar with both activities and always wanted to try paddleboard yoga.

Kelly, our instructor, gave clear instructions for all levels of yoga students. She has these really cool moorings to connect your board to while you're posing on the board so you don't float away. :-)

I highly suggest gettin' your yoga on...on the water!

We met Kelly down at Baby Beach for a SUP yoga paddle and flow session. Kelly was easy to communicate with, had everything ready to go when we arrived. My ten year old daughter loved practicing her yoga moves and I almost did a head stand!

Loving paddle yoga with Kelly! I'm a beginner and she's made it easy for me to start yoga. I am able to do things at my own pace or level, but she makes me feel comfortable pushing myself and does a great job of helping me with the pose and giving me feedback on how my body needs to be positioned and how to be more grounded or centered. I now love paddle yoga!!!

This was an incredibly unique experience, and I'll definitely be back! It was peaceful and uplifting out on the water, and moving around the paddle board was wonderfully challenging. Kelly was a great instructor!

Amazing experience with Kelly doing a restorative SUP YOGA class yesterday. I'm slowly recovering from a lower back injury. Kelly was very thoughtful & fluid in her instruction. I felt so relaxed & consequently stretched myself & felt so great after the class. What an incredible way to start the day. The water at DP harbor was silky & smooth yet we could hear waves crashing on the far side of the jetty. Kelly provided inflatable SUPS & we tethered to her floating island which is the coolest thing ever! Kelly provides an experience that you will not get with other instructors

I was very nervous about trying sup yoga, as I have only done it once on dry land. Not knowing the poses, Kelly made everything clear and was very patient. It became a non intimidating experience and I became relaxed. The group was a lot of fun and had some laughs. I highly recommend Kelly at SoCal Paddle yoga!

I'm a true beginner but wanted to challenge myself. It was a wonderful experience. From the simple sign up process, detailed instructions on what to expect, the pre trip instruction and then Kelly's expert help while in the water. I'm not the most athletic or coordinated gal so I was unsure how I'd do. The whole experience went so well that I've signed up again. The girls that took the class were mixed some experienced,some new. But all friendly and welcoming. It's a wonderful way to start your Sunday off right. This is the perfect environment to try yoga on a paddle board. The water is calm and warm. The instructor Kelly is wonderful. The boards are easy for new comers. The scenery is gorgeous. Anyone who enjoys the outdoors and fitness should try this. You will not be disappointed.

I have taken two classes so far. I had never done stand-up paddle before. The instructor Kelly is great. Experienced, informative and patient. She explains everything very clearly. It was easier than it looked for me. The lake is a great place to learn. If you have been on the fence, I highly recommend you try it here. The yoga is basic, nothing crazy. No matter your level of yoga experience, you can do it. You can make it as challenging as you want. Everyone at their own pace

I call SoCal Paddle Yoga "my happy place" because when you are out in the water like that, you are completely in the moment and the world fades away. It's just the water, the sun, the yoga, and the experience. I can not recommend this class enough - it is fun, relaxing (she will meet you where you are at, no fears!), and a beautiful exercise in mindfulness!

Wow. I don't even know where to begin. They were completely unwilling to work with our party and basically didn't care that I was going through a personal family trauma. They are so terrible to work with. Just chose a different company to work with because they are complete not compassionate.

In response to the owner's reply: I was not given extra time and when my friend reached out to try and get extra time the owner did not respond to her. Completely ignored her. Please don't reply with a lot like that. My friend tried to work with you when I clearly was unable to and you

Such a great class! Kelly is a great soul and teacher. The music during the Yoga was nice and she takes pictures for you and posts them on their page. How cool is that? Rocking gently on the water while doing the poses creates a very peaceful and unique experience. 90 mins of paddling and dong yoga on the beautiful lake with a caring instructor; best $40 ever spent!

This was my first time ever doing yoga! Crazy that I didn't start off in a studio .... absolutely not!
I didn't feel uncomfortable or pressure. This was such a good workout and experience. I went with a friend and the class was only six of us and it felt so good to get in there with a group with different experience levels- in yoga and paddle boarding. The women in my classes made us feel so welcome. I did fall in the water but I'm so glad I tried each yoga pose plus the water was refreshing. I recommend bringing a change of clothes! Thank you so much will be coming back!

Really great experience! Yoga boards are super stable, water is calm-ish compared to open water, instruction is great! Kelly, the instructor, is such a good, calm energy that my fiancé (never having ever paddled and only tried yoga 3 times) felt really comfortable.

This was my first experience paddle boarding, but not my first yoga experience. Kelly is great at making you feel comfortable and helping you out along the way. The classes are pretty small (about 8), which is nice because she can help you if you're having difficulty with a position, or paddle boarding in general. It's great for beginners and those who are more advanced. The Mission Viejo lake is beautiful year round and the background makes for some great pictures (of which Kelly takes tons!).
