Our approach to the practice of yoga focuses on allowing each person to discover their authentic practice. At Shaanti Yoga, we carefully select instructors, each of whom has completed advanced training and many years of experience teaching at all levels, from the athlete seeking to gain an extra edge in performance to those working with physical limitations.
We would love for you to try us out at $30 for 14 days of unlimited yoga! This introductory package includes Zoom classes, in-studio classes as well as Outdoor Yoga in the Park classes. This offer is for new students only and for those new students who live locally. This is an automatic payment and will be deducted each month on the same day.
Reiki is Energy Medicine! It raises the frequency of our natural healing elixir - our life-force, chi, prana that sustains all the complex layers of our being, increasing our energy vibration and vitality and offering us deep insights into our mental and emotional distress and patterns of behavior that keep us stressed out, discouraged and in suffering.
Join us for this beginner's series/class that will give you the foundations of yoga and prepare you for other classes we offer at the studio and beyond. You can come to one class or purchase the entire series. If you have always felt intimidated to try yoga for any reason, this is the perfect class for you to get your feet wet.
If you're new to yoga, or just new to our studio, it can feel a little disconcerting if you don't know the ropes. Our goal is to have a place to practice together where everyone can feel comfortable, so here are a few tips that may help you to feel like a seasoned yogi in no time! Feel free to just bring yourself!

I was a member of YogaWorks in Mission Viejo for years and then the pandemic hit and they closed permanently and I felt like I'd never find a new studio that fit my needs. (I'm not a fan of hot yoga but do enjoy a more challenging yoga practice.) A friend and I saw the intro special at Shaanti and from the first moment I arrived, I felt such peace. The classes and teachers and studio are all lovely and everyone is so friendly. I leave every session feeling so much better. This quarantine has had a negative effect on my mental health and I don't think I'm alone in that. I'm absolutely relieved that I was able to find a Yoga studio that offers a variety of classes online and in person.
Today, I ventured out to the studio and was completely blown away by the overall aura and cleanliness. The entryway and bathroom was very clean. My first class {Gentle Yoga} took place upstairs. They provide a lot of equipment for you to use. They had social distancing markers in place and there were only two other members of the class along with the instructor

It is in trying times like right now when you realize what a true gem you found: I started taking yoga classes at Shaanti Yoga about 2 1/2 years ago and loved the teachers and studio immediately! And when COVID-19 hit with all restrictions and closures, Shaanti Yoga flipped their class schedule immediately to Zoom-supported classes and no student had to miss a beat!! Five words: SIMPLY AMAZING TEACHERS AND STUDIO!

I've been coming to this studio regularly since 2015 and it has only gotten better! The atmosphere is wonderful and the instructors are amazing. The classes are small and all the instructors do a very nice job of tailoring the practice to each student's skill level.
They have a variety of classes and additional workshops such as restorative and sound healing. I recommend the restorative classes/stretch with Mia and the Sunday class with the studio manager Janet.

Love, Love this place.
I really enjoy doing yoga practice at this peaceful studio.
All the instructors are wonderful, nice and trained.
I really had a blast and big thrive since I join them. Each of the instructors have their own unique practice pattern, the thing that I really like, they correct you when you are not in a right pose.
I highly recommend this place to everyone.

Great place . Visited for the first time tonight for a gentle flow class and it was very peaceful yet still a moderate pace . The space is small but lovely . The teacher Jacqueline and greeter/owner are both very kind and welcoming .Her 7pm class in particular is great for newer yoga folks. Not intimidating at all. Also good intro fee to test it out :)

I have taken many yoga classes over the years and none have been better than Casey's class. She makes you feel very welcome and comfortable in her class. I love coming to her class because she allows everyone to work at their own comfort level. There is never any competition between the participants and it is a very nonthreatening environment. I take a lot of CrossFit classes and I notice a huge positive change in my CrossFit performance when I am coming to yoga. I am more flexible and more relaxed! I would definitely recommend Baker Ranch Yoga!

I was a yoga skeptic. A long-time runner, I had never done any physical exercise in a group, but as my knees and lower back made clear it was time for a change, I went to my first yoga practice. Three + years on, and I am completely hooked, and I thank Casey and Katelyn for making it all happen. I have long since lost track of how many classes I’ve taken with both. Having heard all the benefits of yoga, I finally decided to include this yoga program into my private gym training. WOW!... is all I can say! Only after a couple of days, my mobility improved without a doubt! Into my second week, I am fired up and wonder why I did not do this before. I am only glad that I have NOW. I would recommend these gals Kerri, Katelyn, and Casey every day, any day! They are so patient with me and provide the attention that I certainly need. Not only has my mobility improved, my training and morale in life has increased.

I love the teachers here! My favorites are Katelyn, Casey, and Louise. They are all very knowledgeable, not just about the poses and the physical body, but they also stay very true to the history and philosophy behind yoga. They all teach a nice paced flow class. Katelyn has a very calming energy, Casey will make sure you take the time to get into poses correctly, and Louise will make you SWEAT. It's a great place to practice!

I love Kelsi's classes! I have practiced yoga for over four years, and she still remains one of my all time favorites! Every one of her classes is an amazing experience-- challenging, inspirational, healing, and always fun! She is extremely knowledgeable, skilled, friendly, and warm. She genuinely cares for each of her students and makes sure that every yogi feels successful.

First a disclaimer, I am Katelyn's father. But I still have to say that Katelyn is not only a wonderful daughter, she is also a wonderful yoga instructor! And I'll say the same of Casey (the yoga instructor part!). Both are great teachers. They bring a high level of attention to their students along with high energy to their classes. They approach each class with enthusiasm, clear purpose, and a well thought out plan. Katelyn and Casey are the BEST!
Living in Los Angeles and Orange County, I have had the special opportunity to take classes from many gifted and talented yoga practitioners. Without a doubt, the classes I most consistently enjoy are those taught by either of these two. Both are able to bring something new and different to each class experience, emphasize proper technique and body alignment, and create an invigorating atmosphere in the studio.
I leave class feeling energized both mentally and physically- love these guys!

Kelsi is the best yoga instructor I have ever had. She is experienced, well-rounded in her skills, and really knows how to balance and design a session. I have gone to a lot of yoga studios in Los Angeles and Orange County, and I am experienced at yoga, and Kelsi is one of my favorite instructors. I have always come out of her sessions feeling ten times better than I felt beforehand. Truly healing experience- every time!
