Not nice place

I am writing a review for Maison Imperial. The apartment is very good. I would recommend this place especially for those who have a family or about to start a family. The community is very friendly and the space are really great. I recommend Perla Adams for her great work and assistance on our stay in this great community. She is very accommodating and will do her best to help you out. It is definitely one of the best places you can live in the airport blvd.

They are nice on the phone, but unhelpful when it comes to renting apartments.
Problem #1:
I was never given the chance to tour the apartment, or even an example apartment. Virtual tour only.
Problem #2:
I was supposed to move into my unit a week ago, but it got pushed back a week due to their contractors not showing up for work. When trying to get a discount on the rent or a drop in the deposit as reimbursement for the week without a place to live, they told me that it wasn't their fault that the contractors didn't show up to work, and therefore they weren't going to provide anything.
Problem

Been without air for a couple weeks. It’s no reason my apartment should be 80 degrees at night time. Everytime maintenance comes out to solve the problem absolutely nothing get solved! & they also brought me a window unit to until the air get fixed and the window unit went out also.Will be moving and breaking my lease soon

My boyfriend and I lived here for a year. We had a studio, it was small but decent. I always felt safe walking my dog at night. Everyone seemed to pretty much pick up after their dogs so that was a huge plus. I liked sitting on my porch at night. Nice neighborhood behind the apartments to jog in. Friendly neighbors. Walking distance to Books a Million etc. No bugs. Only negative was the washing machines. I probably lost $40 over 11 months.

I moved in maison de end of March in a 2 bedroom 1 BA apt Kiara shoots leased the apartment to me and my child , she told me in would be $1,057 with prorated rent a 600$ deposit and 200$ holding fee even if i moved in same day. I paid it only because my lease was up at my old apartment and i didn’t want to keep running around looking and the unit was nice , anyways i ended up coming back with the money order and she told me the system is saying I’ve paid too much she ended up saying she told me the wrong total and brought in the elderly woman that’s Also a leasing consultant and she took

Love the location. Easy to commute to work daily. My apartment is great! I have a two bedroom and am able to use my spare bedroom for guest and office.

I'm just writing what I wish someone would have told me. Only thing good about this complex is the location. Short-term lease and temporary living situation for me and so happy the day I moved out. Parking is limited, so don't hesitate to get your parking decal. Otherwise, you will be towed to Theodore to the tune of $250 and an additional $50 a day even if you live in the complex. Maintenance is very quick and responsive but can only do so much to this outdated complex. If it hasn't broken yet, it will, whether it's the dishwasher, AC, etc. Wasn't allowed to keep my cooler on my own balcony. Couldn

Its very quiet and well maintained. I was skeptical of moving here because of things I'd heard about the property. But I'm pleased with everything. The size of the apartments are great. Maintenance respond quickly with this being such a large complex. Is quiet and everyone keeps to them selves. Management is always quick to address any issues you're having. The prices are competitive but affordable. Great neighborhood bc everything you need is close by.
