I absolutely loved photographing a wedding here at the Madison Hotel conservatory. They hosted a nighttime wedding ceremony that was absolutely magical and whiel cocktail hour was in the next room, they flipped the conservatory into a reception hall that was equally as impressive. Highly recommend this venue for a wedding!

We had our wedding here in October and the staff and hotel was amazing! We worked with Tim and Chuck primarily who went above and beyond for us, myself and my family are so impressed with how everything went from the rehearsal to the end of our wedding. Tim was extremely responsive to our emails and walking us through the process and having Charles as our Maitre D was a life saver, he came to the rescue multiple times during the night and we are very grateful for him. As far as the hotel, we received many compliments on how clean the rooms are and how attentive the staff was. We stayed there the

I don’t have enough great things to say about The Madison Hotel. Once we got to see The Madison Hotel in person, I knew it was definitely going to be our wedding venue, and we didn’t even take the time to look anywhere else. From the start, we worked with Charles, and he ended up being the maître d for our wedding too. We are so lucky we got to work with Charles because he is truly incredible at his job! He answered all of our questions along the way, always made us feel at ease, and went above and beyond the day of our wedding. He made sure everything went according to plan, and was always

Came in with my fiancé to talk about having our wedding at the conservatory in 2 years. Spoke with Amy and as soon as we walked in she was very unwelcoming and we felt as if she judged us by the way we looked and dressed. Did not seem interested in our business at all, if I'm coming to you excited about getting married to the love of my life why be miserable? Turned us off from the venue completely. Called me "cute" for asking important questions before we even looked around the venue. Walked to the conservatory and it was set up for an event that day the rugs were filthy, and the

We absolutely LOVED working with The Madison Hotel for our wedding. We were married in the conservatory and had the reception in the ballroom. It was FLAWLESS and amazing. Tim, the catering director was so helpful and always available to answer any and all of our questions throughout the entire process. Our guests are STILL talking about how gorgeous the venue was and how great the food was. Seriously made all of our wedding day dreams come true!

We hosted our daughter's wedding here in July 2021. Beforehand working with the staff to arrange everything was easy and pleasant - they go out of their way to make it a stress free and pleasant experience. They really know their stuff! The venue was gorgeous and the ability to have guests stay on-site was wonderful. We were able to share many unplanned lovely moments with our guests. The food was top notch. The service was as well. You will be lucky indeed if you are able to have your event here! Highly recommend.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE-
We arranged a meeting to talk about our engagement party venue options. The person that we met with, Amy, was not informative at all. We came to talk about pricings, options, etc. Starting from the time we sat down, she wouldn't talk to us. For no reason at all. It was very unwelcoming, unprofessional and rude experience.
Complete waste of time. Don't bother picking this place as your venue.

Booked a room for a gf and her coworkers to get ready for a dinner they were attending to they wouldn't have to go home and get ready and come back. They went to get their bags from the car and when they came back the room lock was broke. By the time maintenance fixed the door they had already missed a good portion of the event. I complained to management and they couldn't care less.
Horrible!

Perhaps we will need to update but, so far, cannot recommend.
In an odd area, not scenic. The parking lot feels like a factory parking lot.
The young woman checking in people on a Saturday afternoon -- no smile, no greeting, just a demand for ID. No "thank you." No "have a nice stay." This for about $250 per night. Post office level greeting and attitude.
And the WiFi is free BUT ... runs at dial up speed. I tried to run a Speedtest but it was too slow to even load. Forget Zoom calls or streaming.
The place has an older feel, not really nice.

This is still a nice hotel in some ways but seems to have gone downhill a bit after Covid. Some of the staff are clearly less than thrilled with their job and don't seem interested in helping. Our TV was broken, the breakfast is very minimal, and the pool has confusing rules that the hotel itself struggles to follow (eg which door is locked/unlocked changes day to day). I wouldn't book this hotel for more than $100 a night.

Although not my style The Madison Hotel's decor is in-line with the Georgian-esque landmark that it is. I'm sure staying here as a hotel guest is an entirely different experience in and of itself, rather than visiting as a wedding guest. This hotel has multiple awards of excellence from Trip Advisor leading up to COVID. My husband and I came here last night for a wedding. The Madison touts itself on having "award-winning cuisine," but our meal left much to be desired. Our salads were over dressed, and our sorbet came to the table melted, I had the spinach, red pepper and mozzarella

It's a nice hotel, but we ran into a few problems on our stay. I will preface this by saying I recognize this isn't the fault of any workers so much as management. We booked a room and booked our pool times, a Covid process that states, as per the sign at the pool, a maximum of ten allowed at once.
We originally booked a room so we could see family near by for the first time in over a year, without sleeping over, bc of
covid. We hoped the kids would be allowed to swim, as I have never had an issue at a hotel pool before with this as long as you aren't coming with ten extra kids

Our "Staycation" was simply awesome! Since we had to cancel our normal Spring Break plans we settled on a staycation overnight with the kids. Could not have been happier with every aspect of our visit! Lots of straightforward information regarding Covid and all policies we're definitely enacted throughout our stay. The Madison Hotel is always an enjoyable experience but to be able to enjoy the pool and other amenities in a safe manner was just so relaxing and relieving! We swam in the indoor pool - which we basically had to ourselves- for the entire afternoon and into the evening

Large parking area - free. Access to train transport to NYC. Hotel has a murder mystery type feel to it based on the decorations. Check-in was friendly and quick. The rooms appear to have been newly renovated and the bed was comfortable. Large king. The bathroom was clean and I enjoyed having the double nozzle shower. Towels were clan and fluffy. The only noise I heard was from the train horn as it approached the station. Two restaurants are attached and both serve up a quality experience. Overall I was happy with my stay and would return if in area. For the location alone.

I just stayed at the Madison for two nights and it was extremely disappointing. I have lived in this area for a very long time and the medicine always have a great reputation. In fact when I told people I was staying at the Madison they all said all the masses it was so nice. I had a bad experience and I am not a critical person at all. Within the first half hour of being there I had three employees be irritable and not nice at all. The hotel room was nice. However there were things missing such as there were no menus like every single hotel room I have ever been in has. If a hotel does not have

The hotel itself is in a great area, the room & grounds were beautiful also the hotel offers onsite free parking. Patrick helped us with our bags and was a joy. The women who checked us in however was unwelcoming and short. When we came down in the morning for breakfast the same woman who checked us in was handing out breakfast. After we order she threw the bag of food on the counter and walked away saying nothing. This was our second interaction with her and it was no better than the first every one else who we encounter was pleasant. If it wasn't for her our stay would have been perfect

We ate here as a welcome dinner when I began a new job and it was a special experience. One of the co-owners was walking around introducing himself, and their pianist, Mitch, was an absolute joy.
We all had smaller bites for dinner- three of us split a quesadilla, which was delicious, with chicken. A bit pricey for an appetizer when you added the chicken, but it was real chicken breast with huge, thick slices and there was a lot of it - this easily could have been a meal in itself.
For my dinner, I had the beet salad, which was a perfect portion. The arugula was a bit wilty under the dressing

Booked a last minute room via hotels.com
Did not find out until arrival that there is an additional $50 undisclosed fee. Am not allowed to check into room AND they will not refund room price, because apparently a room booked today, went past the non-refundable time of two days before booking that was not disclosed.
So, in conclusion, I have a $150 hotel room I'm not allowed to check in, that is $50 cheaper if I went through Priceline.com instead of hotels.com and the hotel won't refund the money if I cancel it.

We booked this hotel exclusively for the pool. My daughter's one birthday request was to go swimming. Upon entering the pool area a hose is strewn around the pool and apparently is refilling the pool. There are signs warning the floor is wet but you have to walk and ultimately slip. The water temp in the pool was cold. But it just got worse. While my daughter was in the cool pool the pool maintenance man came in to service the pool. He left the door to the outside open for five minutes making the air and water colder and ultimately unbearable to remain in the room much less the pool.

I give it a 4 star because you can literally travel back in time to the 1920's. It has such a charm and lovely garden area. The glass room for special events have floor to roof glass and a stunning chandelier that dress s that room very lovely.
Perfect for a Mother's Day brunch or tea time with your girlfriends. They do need to remodel the rooms though. Other than that they have beautiful grounds that are kept nicely manicured.
