Overall, I loved the Honua Kai property; however, there were some issues with my stay. For one, they did not deduct the 6th night as promised via VRBO. I have been talking to them for a week and they still have not taken responsibility around this. In addition, the night before I left there was a safety incident. A member of their Maintenance staff entered our room without knocking or announcing themselves. He told my daughter "Hi." When I heard this man's voice in our room, "I asked "what are you doing here?" He apologized claiming that he thought we had already

A great location of the property when it comes to beach access and walk down to restaurants.
The entrance to the resort building is pleasing with valet parking available.
Now comes the interesting review of access to the 6th floor condo with trash right outside of the elevator and hallway carpets dark and dirty.
Condo was clean and equipped well but as we retired to sleep, noted that mattresses are old and worn with deep sinking pockets that made our sleep worst with lower back aches as we got up. It was a regular feature to be waking up with discomfort in the lower back for all family members

We paid 13 k for a 3 BR place for a week. Condo and the view was nice. Freezer went out and a guy fixed it and we had no ice for 2d. Cleaning was 299 extra for one time. If we came in after 9 pm garage was full and they charged extra for valet parking. There were lot of cockroaches around the hot tub and I complained and next day they were still there and I never went back there. Would probably not go back

Booked a trip to Maui with my family in Aug, paid for all flights there, found restaurants, planned activities, you know, the whole nine yards. Only to have them cancel our rental. No reason given and no call. I wrote and e-mail and called them. No response. KBM Resorts is not professional, not nice and not how a company should treat people considering they work in hospitality. (UPDATE 12-28-22)....(ODD HOW I CAN'T COMMENT ON YOUR RESPONSE---NO, THERE WAS NO OFFER OF A "FREE" UPGRADE TILL I CALLED AND WAS VERY UPSET---THERE WAS NO E-MAIL, NO TEXT AND NO COMMUNICATION ON YOUR END. I was a little nervous at first booking for 2 reasons: Covid situation and their newer Kanapalli shores listing. However I booked with them based on reviews and flexibility to cancel due to Covid. We stayed at their kanapali location for 14 days and been very happy. First expectation was clear that I had to pay for parking and that's it. The room has tons of amenities that they included that would be extra at most places. Dishwasher and washing machine detergent, brand new baby high chair, vacuum etc. They do not charge extra to swap out sheets and towels. You have to pay extra for a full

We stayed at one their properties on the island for a week and overall it was a pleasant experience. The unit we leased out was clean and ready with all amenities needed. We were visiting with our 1 yr old and needed a high chair. Reached out to KBM and they delivered a brand new booster chair within few hours. TIP : If you find one of their properties on any of the travel sites, would suggest to reach out to them directly for better prices.

What an absolute headache this company has been since the governor announced only necessary travel to the islands. AND Maui is now on 21 day lockdown. Does KBM care? No. They still expect us to come and stay in our room putting locals and ourselves in harm's way. I wasn't even asking for a refund. I just wanted to reschedule when the island would be fully open and they refused to even reschedule us. We had a group of 20 coming to stay in Maui with us to celebrate our 10 years of marriage and ALL have been able to reschedule/refund their trips but not us. Thanks to KBM! You've made

BEWARE!! They don't follow through on what they promised, even if you have their commitment in writing. We booked a condo back in November that came with a free rental car. Now, 4 weeks before our trip they tell us that no cars are available (through their company) and refuse to compensate us for the value of a last minute rental car ($1100). Don't get screwed like we did, book your condo with someone else.

So easy to work with. We tried to reschedule our vacation that was to take place during the pandemic, but couldn't find a mutual date between us and our friends. Deposit returned minus $99 cancellation fee which is more than fair. Had my money back in about a week and a half. Impressive. Thank you!!!!

I believe Maria was the one I spoke to multiple times to help me decide. She was very friendly and a wealth of information. Do not use this company. They do not care about COVID safety or what's best for the families who are staying at their properties. My family booked a stay with them and since there is STILL a pandemic going on, we do not feel comfortable flying on a plane to Maui when so many states have done away with their COVID restrictions. KBM will not let us change the dates unless we actually have COVID. They only care about the money. So now we have to go or lose our money. I hope we don't get COVID...

BEST vacation ever, and it started with the staff at KBM. Stayed at Mahana penthouse unit 1211. From booking, to concierge services every single staff member was over the top GREAT. I have been to Maui dozens of times and this by far was the cutest unit with the most amazing ocean and mountain views, you don't want to leave your unit! From the decor to the cleanliness to the amenities both inside and out of the unit, it was perfect and stocked with absolutely everything you'd ever need. The ease of check in and check out was great (which they also graciously extended our check out until the evening

Townhome T-14 was absolutely perfect for our Christmas getaway in Park City! The unit had four bedrooms and four bathrooms and was perfect for our family of 5. The hill right outside the back patio is perfect for sled rides as well!
Everything was extremely clean, ample amount of linens, kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and supplies and the beds were very comfortable.
The only feedback I would have is to invest in softer sheets and re-label the thermostat that heats up the master and bunk rooms to indicate such.

Great stay at 236 HKH! The condo was amazing and we even got a free car rental during our 2 week stay in mid November. I would absolutely book with KBM again as they were responsive to the requests and helped to fix some issues with a clogged toilet that arose during our stay. The condo was beautiful and clean and had all the amenities for a family of four. We especially appreciated the beach chairs and boogie boards as well as the wraparound lanai and pools at the resort. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Will give them 10 stars if I got to, best experience ever, they are professional, genuine, and wonderful people working to make your stay as excellent and memorable as possible! Emailed them few times about room amenities didn’t they were always quick to respond. They even sent extra soap when I needed it, straight to my room. My bedroom door was stuck for a while and after one email someone came and fixed it. They work long after 6 pm and early before 6 am. Thankfully they rent units that’s are well taken care of. They sent me emails about recommendations on the island even though I was days

Original vacation was April 2020 but due to Covid we worked with Maria and rescheduled for Nov 2020. All the confusion and anxiety about traveling, Maria was great. Very responsive. Condo at Napili Point Resort was amazing! Bathrooms a little dated but the view and the location made up for it. I will be making a reservation in the same condo for my next trip to Maui. KBM provided wonderful beach towels to the condo for us and arranged rental car as well. Highly recommend KBM Hawaii for booking your condo and car while on Maui.

Booked w/ KBM for my in laws and our anniversary trip. Ended up booking two units at Honua Kai and the experience was perfect. Got a great deals on two top end units. The kids LOVED the pool and the service was fantastic. Justin and Jessica are in a class of their own. Amazing service. I will definitely book w/ KBM whenever we visit Maui!

KBM Hawaii is my favorite way to get there! We live on Oahu and went over for a "Girls Get-Away / Stay-Cation" and CANNOT wait to go back. KBM Hawaii too great care of us. Great communication while booking, as well as immediate follow up for our questions after we booked! Upon arrival we were greeted and escorted to our immaculate suite. A welcome note with coffee, tea and fresh cookies were a nice touch! They were super great in getting us some help on the day we attempted to use the grill. For some reason 4 ladies could not get it

My husband and I were going to Maui for our 1st anniversary until the Coronavirus hit the Hawaiian Islands, and unfortunately we had to cancel our trip- it was out of our control.

KBM is the best, and we will never use another vacation rental agency in Maui. Everyone we worked with was extremely responsive and helpful and the prices cannot be beat.
Upon arrival our unit exceeded expectations. It was sparkling clean, nicely furnished and well-equipped with necessities to make our stay comfortable. We stayed at Honua Kai, which was a perfect choice for our family. Our kids adored the lazy river and splash pad and we were just a short walk to restaurants, tons of food trucks and the market. At first I was very impressed with how KBM dealt with me and my family. They did a great job. In fact, we even canceled our other stay because we wanted to stay with them. As soon as that happen, it went down hill from there.
We called them and asked about a place, because we dealt with vacasa and they are even worse than KBM. They told us they would get us a good room and even offered early checkin. So we literally sat around and waited for them. They called us at 1:30 and said your room would be ready soon, go get keys in a few minutes at the vallet. We waited 30 minutes and went to vallet

Their staff is professional but friendly and accommodating, their units are updated and top of the line, and their prices can't be beat. They give you a free car rental for every booking longer than five nights!
Their communication is detailed and well timed. I really appreciated that they were honest about the units which overlook construction (we stayed at the Honua Kai), and reflected this fairly in their prices.
