Leaving this review in hopes that it will get the attention of someone who can make some changes happen. The reason we moved to this property was because the large gym and outdoor area, it was was much nicer than the two properties next to Avino but unfortunately in the last year multiple pieces of gym equipment and outdoor items have broke and have yet to be fixed. The gym has multiple treadmills down, the leg extension is broken as well as the stair stepper. A few of us that use the gym daily called the office back in late October to report this and each time the office tells us "the parts

I chose this community because it's close to my kids school and close to the land im building nearby or else I would never move in here, my hands are tied they have very strict rules that does not make any sense and not only that the rent is way over the average rent is in San Diego but this community is fairly new and no parking at all. cannot parking space is a very tight I cannot get my Tesla SUV to park properly in our driveway and if you don't park the right way in your driveway you will be towed visitor parking is even more restrictive here because every visitor has to be electronically

Unreasonably overpriced. There is nothing special about living here. Most of the amenities were closed when I moved out. Price was increased by 5% after a year I lived there. There is no reason to stay there for that price - you can find better prices in the same area. That's what I did and live now in a bigger apartment for less price.
There is no security at Avino, no gates, no cameras. My bike was stolen despite the fact it was locked to the pillar right before the front door. Management doesn't care about such cases - it looks like it happens all the time (see other reviews). Don

Avino apartment sometimes organize lovely event, such as the movie night. When my family wnet the poolside in apartment, the seats marked for my family were prepared. Snacks, chocolate, jelly and water were provided to the residents. We enjoyed that night. Poolside at night was very beautiful and the mood was fantastic. My kids really loved that time. Movie was fun and the snakcs were delicious. We thanked to the apartment for organizing such a lovely event.

Avino has been home for a few years now and I have nothing but praise. The staff is friendly and responsive, they communicate well about anything occurring in the complex, they have been consistent and communicative during COVID, and the grounds are still lovely and maintained. No cars are towed unnecessarily. Trash is picked up regularly. The proximity to grocery and pharmacy is awesome. Park down the street. A dream for families, folks with dogs, and those who just like nice people. The two bedroom unit I've lived in is spacious and has an office which has been a sanity saver during work

This property is absolutely gorgeous. There is so many places within a walking distance to enjoy. Their staff is so friendly. I have worked a lot with Becca and Benjamin and have the most amazing service with them. The team is always going above and beyond to make sure their residents are happy. Could not recommend this property more.

Terrible management! Look at all the R&V reviews on google. They screw everyone. Everything is always broken and/or not maintained. Way overpriced and good luck with anyone treating the tenants with respect. You pay a lot of money for a lot of attitude. And they take your security deposit and never refund.

Hey management, get a hold of me asap before you get served with court papers.
My $500 gift card promised was never given to me, you lied to me about my neighbors just to rent a apartment and I lived under a parking garage with Ferrari's stored and and starting up at 6 a.m right under my bed.
Then you charge me for paint and carpet after less then one year, and think your tenant should make your apartment brand new. Doesn't work that way. Don't waste your money on this place people. Other reviewers are right. It just looks good but their is nothing good about it.

We lived in Avino for a year and and a half and it was one of the most joyful experiences. The property Manager James has always been very professional, polite and accommodating. Satisfaction of the residents was his first priority. He and his staff always treated me and my kids with respect. It was a PERFECT place to live.
I am surprised at some negative comments left by anonymous people. You can guess why they are anonymous, cowardly behavior.
There were few absolutely terrible people that tired to wreak havoc at the community but they soon left and life went back to normal for Avino residents

We have lived here for over two years and have literally no complaints. The staff in the front office are extremely helpful and friendly. James and Kim have always gone out of their way to make this community a home.
Amenities:
The pool area is amazing and the clubhouse is perfect for parties. The gym is well equipped to the point that you can quit your gym membership.
Neighbors:
We've met some really great people since we've lived here. Some have come and gone and others have stayed as long or longer than us.
Overall great place to live. Great community with friendly staff.

In one word...WOW! We spent 4 days searching for the perfect place following a job offer. After viewing multiple private properties as well as other complexes, we drove through the entrance at Avino and loved it. Upon walking into the leasing office, we were greeted by Kim Quijada. Her professionalism and sincerity immediately put us at ease. I moved in one month ago and I must say, I love so much here! The grounds are kept up beautifully and the pool ,Jacuzzi and Gym
are as good as any five star hotel. I rented out the clubhouse for a party and it was fantastic. Roomy, upscale and great for a large group. I would do it again and again.

My only complaint is there is miscommunication among office staff. Things were promised by one person and stopped by another. But overall, everyone has been super friendly and great.

I'm quite surprised at all the negative reviews about Avino. A few months ago, we were in a rush to find temporary housing and decided to go with Avino despite the reviews. Here's why in a nutshell:
- walking distance to Trader Joe's & shops
- proximity to freeway and highly-rated schools
- fully equipped gym (with a yoga and spin room!)
- cozy clubhouse with several TV's, a pool table & computer room
- really, really, really nice pool area with gazebos, jacuzzi, sauna, fire pit and BBQ areas
Michaela showed us a few units, and we chose a second floor 2-bedroom unit

Ok. So I barely use Yelp for 2 reasons.
1.) Some people can't be pleased not matter what
2.) My opinion on something is simply that. MY opinion.
With that said, I was on Yelp looking up a local restaurant and got curious what the Yelp ratings/reviews said about the place that I currently call home - AVINO.
I must say I was a little surprised about some of the harsh criticism from some people, however I do understand it.

Realtors have told many residents this is the MOST EXPENSIVE PER SQUARE FOOT in all of San Diego. Most residents do not stay long and break their lease because they realize it's a complete ripoff.
One month after moving into this construction site without any amenities for months they lowered the rent to attract new residents.
Management:
The management is constantly harassing residents creating rules to monetarily penalize due to the lack of residents. Never seen a male leasing agent (discrimination suit waiting to happen), only hire quiet women who answer questions based on
