I injured my back in 2017 and when it was time to strengthen and stabilize, I knew I wanted to train with the most knowledgeable person I could find. As a chiropractor, I was familiar with Dr. Hernandez's background and training, so I knew he was the best fit for me. I have come so far since starting to work out at Kai Fitness - I'm stronger, my back is much more stable and I really enjoy the workouts in the small group setting. Dr. Hernandez tailors the trainings to each individual and is especially skilled at creating modifications based on each person's ability. I highly recommend Kai Fitness

Scott has done a great job at keeping the gym clean and spaced out during COVID. I always feel super accomplished after one of his workouts, and the gym environment is always friendly and welcoming. Definitely give it a try if you haven't been yet.

Scott truly understands a 60ish year old football athlete who has had several operations. I am on my fourth total left knee, replaced right hip, and a shoulder operation, to name a few. He has been great in understanding my problems and pain and how to work around those ptoblems. Scott knows what he is doing and it shows with the workouts he puts together for me and concern he truly shows during those workouts. I am all in on working out again. Scott and KAI Fitness are the way to go if you have any concerns with your health or ability!

Highly recommend training here. Great prices for awesome training sessions and quick results. The trainers are extremely friendly and motivating as well as all of the people I have met here while training. Great group of people that welcome you in with open arms and make you feel like you belong there. After going here for a couple months I would not go anywhere else. Been on a break for a while but can't wait to get back into the gym with Scott.

I wish I could take this place with me everywhere I move! I've been training (on and off) with Scott for the past 10 years. I travel a lot and I always make sure to spend some time at Kai Fitness when I am back in Jax. Scott has kept me in good shape by working around any injuries I have while also giving great advice on nutrition. The group classes are small so they still feel very personal and like one-on-one training. Scott is friendly, knowledgable, motivating, and extremely considerate to every clients personal needs. Scott and his team are amazing at getting you back in shape without any injuries. I had not exercised in years and decided to go to KAI and was welcomed as though I was one of the regulars. Scott works around any ailments you have like a knee or back. The classes are small and you will see improvement quickly. Give KAI a try, you'll be glad you did.

I’ve been going to Kai Fitness for over four years and I’ve never had one day of exercise the same as the session before. Scott oversees your session and makes sure that you don’t hurt yourself and if you do he will readjust your program. I highly recommend Kai Fitness for your fitness and health.

I’ve known Scott for years and he has always been my absolute go-to for any kind of injury or issue for myself, and my kids. He is always spot-on in his diagnostics and treatment. He took especially great care of my son who was a competitive gymnast for many years. Also, his approach to training is the best to stay injury free or resolve an injury. Dr. Scott is knowledgeable and responsive in every training session. He modifies workouts as each person needs and optimizes every workout. Scott Hernandez is a extraordinary trainer , in less than one year my body has been transformed. Considering that I have two bad knees and neck issues that is a huge accomplishment. I have several friends who have been going to Kai Fit for years, they look so amazing it inspired me to join, Scott makes sure that I don’t injure myself and work out using movements that do not hurt. But most importantly I feel great, better than ever. I am totally addicted. Lastly the people I work out with are fun and upbeat. It’s a great experience. Don’t wait! Scott's passion for the health and wellness of his clients is a huge differentiator for him...his approach is truly holistic from nutrition, corrective exercise, and balanced body building regimens . His approach and talents have resulted in me avoiding back fusion surgery 5 years ago...what is that worth?

KAI Fitness is everything you would hope for in a fitness facility - Scott SEES you as a whole person and evaluates your individual needs. I've been working out at Kai for several years. I've stayed with Kai for several reasons. There are classes available at a variety of times during the day and early evening to ensure you can make it work with your schedule. The gym is spacious with a wide variety of equipment for cardio and strength training. Every workout is different which keeps me from getting bored with the routine.

Scott takes a real interest in every client - customizing the routines to ensure maximum benefit. I enjoy working out here as everyone is welcoming, non-judgemental and focused on working out

Kai fitness! Where do I start? I have been training here for more than a month now with Hanna and I absolutely love it! The two trainers Scott and Hanna truly care about your overall health here and their motivation pushes you to your fullest potential.
The environment is open and spacious. They have a variety of strength building equipment and cleanliness here is pristine.
Trainers have a flexibility of time ranges you can choose from to work one on one with them. My workout is typically 30 minutes of power and then I'm done! I believe they also offer some group workouts as well.
