Services
We believe in being transparent about what's to come and equipping you with the right tools and resources at every step in this journey. You might be noticing that the daily routine has gotten more difficult. Shopping, cooking and keeping up the house are taking a toll they didn't before. You or your family member may be having a harder time remembering things, or keeping appointments and details straight.
Determining care needs is the first step in the planning process. As hard as it can be, having open and honest conversations about what is happening now and what might happen in the future is key. We know it can be hard, but it's really important to talk about what's happening as soon as possible. Caring for someone full time or helping a loved one transition to a new place can mean changes to your lifestyle.
The Institute of Medicine defines patient-centered care as: "Providing care that is respectful of and responsive to individual patient preferences, needs and values, and ensuring that patient values guide all clinical decisions." At Marquis, we wholeheartedly embrace this paradigm shift and add our expertise and passion by creating personalized care plans customized at each level of care.
Marquis provides opportunities for social interaction, engaging activities and human connection. The deep relationships built between staff and clients can be a key resource in someone's journey. From volunteering in the community, to making a life long goal a reality or simply building new found friendships, we encourage our clients to live their best lives.
Marquis offers a variety of senior living and health care services customized to the unique needs of each individual. We can help you determine the best option for you or a loved one. Sometimes seniors have an episode or illness and temporarily require more help and the aid of therapy. Post hospital care is essential to the healing process.

My mom’s is currently at Marquis. Three days ago she told me that her roommate had been coughing a lot, and then tested positive for Covid. Last night my mom told me that now she also has Covid. We had been SOOO careful this whole time, I can’t believe she got it at a medical facility. I guess I was naïve thinking that they had everything under control and could protect the patients. I did talk to someone there and they told me that patients do come in and out for medical appointments so it could’ve come from that instead of actual employees. Maybe it is the same everywhere, And I honestly

I recently visited a family member here for the first time. They live on the 4th floor. Wow! What an experience!
The nurse who was there, Amy, was so incredibly rude. She spoke to the other employees like they didn't matter and had a very nasty tone about her. I also saw her at the desk more than I saw her away from it. Doesn't she have work to do??
I went up to her to ask her about my family member and she seemed like she was annoyed that she even had to talk to me. She interrupted me CONSTANTLY as well. The worst part was that she walked away in a huff after talking to me! Not very professional

After surviving over 100 in the Kaiser ICU where he received excellent care, he was transferred to the regular hospital. At that time both the doctor and care coordinator were so anxious to get him out that they released him well before he was ready. He couldn't dress himself, stand up and had only been eating solid food for 2 days. Both the doctor and care coordinator told us numerous lies to get him released. Marquis at Mt Tabor has failed miserably in the rehab and health care departments. He is decompensating, receiving laughable physical therapy and other issues too numerous to list. The

If giving no stars was an option, I’d give no stars. This place deserves no stars coming from a former employee. The only patients they seem to value are patients on their skilled floors. And those are the only employees they seem to care for are those who work on those skilled floors, 3 and 5. If you have a family member on the ICF floor take them any where but here! TRUST ME. Especially if it is 4 west... this group of staff seem to get away with anything... and the DNS is well aware yet does not seem to care. It is quite sad. I blame management for not giving staff support and the right resources

If i could give them no stars I would. Horrible management, most people there are mean. Meaning the staff they aren't polite only a handful are good. Would not suggest working there at all or living there. The management say one thing but do another. Pretty much if they don't like you they will fire you for no reason.

Lovely residents but when it comes to the staff... at least teaching staff, its all bad. they like making new people feel less then themselves and because the elder workers have been there longer. they do thing theyre way and not the states way. and in order to take care of one right all step must be followed and they get skipped over.

My father was there for 7 weeks after he fell and broke his collar bone. The pros about Marquis Mt. Tabor was the coordinated care from PT, OT, nursing, social work and aides. The staff were nice, it was well staffed, the rooms were clean and it felt safe. The cons were the age of the facility and lack of basic adaptive equipment in the rooms and bathrooms. My dads bathroom was so small he couldn’t use it as he required an aide or his wife’s help to use the toilet and there wasn’t enough room. They provided a commode for him in his room but it was so rickety that it was unsafe to use. It

I'm currently living at Marquis Mt Tabor, recovering from an accident, and I think it's a great place. That's mainly because of the staff here; the physical and occupational therapists, nursing staff and CNAs are exceptional. They are extremely helpful, always meeting my needs and requests with friendliness and humor, and always insuring my dignity. Hopefully I won't have another accident like this one, but if I do I would go back to Marquis Mt Tabor without hesitation.
