Care Solutions was created in response to a need I saw many years ago as I watched my family cope with the care needs of my grandmother, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's when I was a teen. Many of my fondest memories growing up were of spending time with her, so watching the woman I'd known fade away as her disease progressed was very difficult.

I was so pleased to find Brenda. We needed a memory care facility for my Mom in east Portland, Oregon and Brenda helped us find the perfect place. Brenda is amazing! She is incredibly knowledgeable about the needs of seniors, and the options available in our community. I was especially impressed that she spoke extensively directly to my mother, providing her dignity by engaging her in the process. Once Brenda understood my mom's needs, she advised us on what types of facilities we might consider, and, after getting our feedback, selected a few excellent places to visit. Brenda accompanied us on each visit, advising us and making sure the right questions were asked, etc. In the end, we selected an amazing place for my mom - she is very happy

Brenda was indispensable in helping me find the right option for my father. She helped me to understand the differences between the levels of care in assisted living, memory care, and residential care facilities because prior to meeting her, I had no idea what I needed to look for. I was looking in the Oregon City / Clackamas area, but with her help I ultimately found that the care facility that fit him the best was in Portland. Brenda kindly spent over an hour of her time with me (for free) to discuss and provide solutions for my mother, who has dementia. Brenda is very knowledgeable and takes initiative to get things done. Brenda was referred to us by a trusted friend of twenty plus years, he reported that she helped him find a facility that fit all of his mothers needs. When questioned on knowledge, lever of commitment and service he could not embellish Brenda's attributes enough. I was skeptical to say the least, no one is that good! Brenda of Care Solutions is an angel! My 64 year old brother had become very ill, and I was desperately trying to find a place for him to get the type of care he needed. He had only a few more days in rehab, and it turned out he was too needy for regular assisted living. I searched the Internet for suggestions and came up with Brenda Schuh of Care Solutions. I meet Brenda S when I was in a panic to find a place my mom could live after her 1 1/2 mth was complete at a rehabilitation facility. I was completely lost at what to do since I had just assumed complete responsibility for her care. Brenda was absolutely fantastic finding a wonderful place for her to live. First and foremost, Brenda is amazing! As a social worker, she is the only placement agency I use! Time and time again family members thank me for calling her. She goes above and beyond for her clients. I have never had a single complaint about her in the 3 years I have used her. To be honest, the previous review infuriates me. I call Brenda to work with my clients because I know she would never place them anywhere she wouldn't place her own family. Working with Brenda from Care Solutions was frustrating and a total waste of our time. Not only did she ignored my calls, she only had two places to show us, and she tried to manipulate my parents and turn our family members against each other. My parents had very high care needs. She seemed very thorough at first. She assessed them and recommended a place right away. When the place was unable to accept them, due to their care needs, she told us rhere was no other place for them. A couple days later, she said she had found another place. She had their agent come out and assess my parents

I've never had to put a parent into a care facility and it had to be done immediately. I was terrified because, come on, it's my Dad! I wanted to make sure he was safe and in a healthy place. Brenda returned my call right away and met me a few hours later. She found a BEAUTIFUL place with fantastic help. On the tour, I said out loud, "I would live here!"
