Our parents want their independence and want to live their own lives as they see fit, yet they may need a little help to remain as independent as possible. If your elderly parent is in relatively good health and doesn't need a lot of assistance with every day tasks, an assisted living facility is a terrific option.

I have a mother who lives at this community and I have never had a bad experience. The staff treat mom with the same respect, care and compassion they would their own family member. Some of the staff have even been there 15+ years which is pretty telling of the place as a whole. The building is in the middle of getting a face lift and the changes we can see currently are really great. My mom likes to try and be as independent as possible and it seems like everyone there is behind her in that providing encouragement and willingness to help if she asks but not just to do stuff for her. Just tried to call, so I could be connected to my aunt and as always. No answer. I have had no complaints from my aunt as her being cared for physically. But we bout her a lap top and one of the staff stole it jus before they quit. It seems like every time I go there more of her things are missing. The food is gross. I hate this place.
