My heartfelt thanks to all the caring staff that made the last years of Betty's life so wonderful. GLM is truly a compassionate and loving place to be when you can't be at home any longer. I was transferred there from a hospital after breaking my hip, not able to get from the bed to wheelchair on my own.
Your joint replacement surgery is scheduled - maybe it's a hip or knee. You've met with doctors and surgeons, read about what to expect, and talked to others who've been there. But questions linger: Will you bounce back quickly, or will you struggle to get on your feet again? To improve the odds of a quick recovery, enlist the expertise of our physical or occupational therapists and do some Prehab before your surgery.
A short term rehab stay is sometimes required after a hospital stay to continue recovery from surgery, illness, injury, stroke, or other conditions. Our expert therapists work with you to continue your recovery, help reach your health goals, and rebuild and strengthen to get you back to your independent lifestyle.

I worked for Geneva Manor for 5 years and now work for the company that manages the facility. My mother has been a resident here twice for rehab. The staff treats everyone like family and they are an incredible team. I would recommend friends, family, anyone that needs short term rehab or long term care.

So far so good. My Mom was just placed here a few days ago, but my Dad and I are already getting that "warm fuzzy feeling" that you hope to have from staff that are taking care of a loved one. Will update review after a few weeks.
THANK YOU Geneva Lake Manor for having such GREAT employees. ❤😊

My mother-in-law was in Geneva Lake Manor for 7 years. We had no issues while she was there. She got the best care, and they treated her like family. Good meal, always some kind of activity going on, and you could tell they all really cared about her. Any thing going on with her and they would call us right away to keep us up to date. Very friendly staff and we loved them as much as they loved her.

Caring and knowledgeable staff. My mother was taken care of beautifully. They became our family. Not a bad thing to say.

I was first introduced to Geneva Lake Manor over 4 years ago when I was here for rehabilitation of a broken shoulder. What I expected to be a month-long stay turned into 6 months. In that time, I was able to experience several of the different departments that the facility offers.
- The excellent caring touch of the CNA's, especially Kiera
- The educated work done by the wound care nurse, Alisa
- The magnificent work done by Stacy in Social Services navigating our way through Medicare and helping me get the money I needed to get the care I needed
- The kind, thoughtful service offered by Ana

This is a c-diff playground. Do you want your loved one suffering diarrhea for months?
Addressing Manor's cya response, naturally "your records" do not show this, because you do not follow up with patients after discharge. People do not get this condition in a vacuum. They get it from extended stay in facilities. A family member had it upon leaving your facility. She was not in another. No response would have been far better than a half-factual defensive stance.

I rehabbed here after hip replacement surgery. It was the best experience of my life & I reminisce about it often. The aides were great, the friendships I made will last a lifetime & the Rehab staff was outstanding. They worked you hard - but you knew it was for your own good. Excellent facility & top notch Rehab Department. Thank you all for everything you did for me to get me back on my feet.

I was transferred from a hospital for rehab for a broken hip. At 85, not yet able to get out of a wheelchair it was going to be a long recovery. The team at the manor soon had a detailed plan with medication, monitoring physical health, therapy, tracking with milestones. Entire staff was on the team working together watching my progress. The CNA'S constantly sensitive to detailed needs quick to respond above and beyond expectations. Food is a challenge in hospitals and they tried to take care of the residents. Each day you could choose meals for the next day from a list. There was long list
