Our story began in 1982 when we opened as an independent practice focused on high-quality personalized eye care. Since then, we've partnered with Total Vision and have gained access to one of the most extensive optometry networks in the state. These connections and resources help us further enhance every patient's experience.
Hollywood Vision Center is all about convenience and customer service, right up to and including the moment when it's time to pay for your care. We accept many payment options to accommodate our customers and even offer direct billing via a growing list of insurers. We offer valet parking in the building, and there is ample street parking in the neighborhood.
Regular eye exams can be vital for keeping your eyes healthy and your vision strong. An eye exam allows your optometrist to detect signs of eye disease and vision problems before they impact your vision. Without an exam, you might not even know you have an eye disease until it starts causing severe challenges for you-including irreparable vision loss.
Hollywood Vision Center is just as dedicated to protecting children's eyes and vision as we are to serving adults and seniors. We offer comprehensive eye exams designed to address your children's specific needs. We provide a warm and welcoming environment where your kids can relax during their eye exams.
When you have diabetes, you also have higher risks for several eye diseases. You'll need to be extra diligent about monitoring your eyes for glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, and diabetic macular edema. Since some of these diseases can be invisible to the untrained eye, so regular eye exams with a qualified optometrist are your best line of defense.

Dr Briscoe has been my family MD for years. It was a pleasure seeing her this visit, she’s always provides a comprehensive assessment that is preventative. My excessive use of technology and travel (different environments) for work has the potential for havoc on my eyes and body. Hollywood Vision Center is warm and welcoming. You will always be greeted with a smile. The doctors and staff are amazing, and they use state-of-the-art equipment. I was particularly impressed with how much care and genuine concern that I received. And the service is second to none. I went in for my annual vision exam. The doctor fitted me with contacts, and I also got a pair of glasses. If it is time for you to get your vision checked, Consider calling Hollywood Vision Center first. You will not regret it.

My 12-year-old had an eye appointment yesterday. The woman at the front desk (I feel terrible not remembering her name!) was incredibly nice and very helpful. The doctor was great with my daughter and did a terrific job. Everyone in the office was friendly, caring and professional. I love this place!

Stay away from this business! I came here for an eye exam and contact fitting in August 2020. It was an all around horrible experience. They were very pushy about selling me glasses (I only wear contacts); left me in the exam room for 90 minutes (no joke) just waiting after the nurse said she'd be "right back" with the doctor; and then told me they couldn't accept my vision insurance after initially I was told it was accepted.
I ended up buying my contacts elsewhere and I didn't even receive my prescription from Hollywood Vision Center. I'm an easy going person, but EVERYTHING about this business

Dr. B is very friendly, extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions. My contacts have always given me trouble especially if I wear makeup. My 1st time here she fitted me for different contact lenses and they are amazing. No more scratched or dry eyes. It's like I don't even know they are there!!! Highly recommend.

Dr. Brisco’s approach to healing includes both traditional and alternative methods and she is well versed in both. Her staff is amazing as well and always available to answer questions. Rarely have I ever taken the time to rate my optometrist and staff, as getting my eyes checked was simply a functional, no-frills experience. This place is fantastic! Dr. Elise Brisco was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. She clearly knows a lot about eye health and was able to provide a clear explanation as to what may be affecting my eye health and how to take care of my eyes. They also have a great selection of frames. I would highly recommend!
