Services
The Behavioral Associates Children's Center is dedicated to providing compassionate, effective and comprehensive care for each child, teen and family that walks through our door (ages 4 -17). Our goal is to provide an environment where children and their families are given the support and care needed to thrive and make positive changes.
Dr. Robert Reiner has been directing a diverse team at Behavioral Associates since he founded the company in 1988. Each staff member was chosen for their unique specialty and ability to add value to the Behavioral Associates team. This includes licensed psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, as well as a team of supervised trainees from the top programs across the country.
We feel the pain and anger provoked by the senseless killing of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery -and so many other black people in this country, and we vocally condemn these acts of police brutality and the systemic racism that supports them. We are taking a stand NOW on important social issues like racism and injustice; we MUST use our voices to help drive change and support the path to healing.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based form of talk therapy that is effective for anxiety, depression, life transitions, ADD/ADHD and many other mental and physical health symptoms. CBT works under the premise that by changing destructive forms of thinking and modifying negative behavior patterns you can alter the underlying feelings.
Couples therapy helps couples (any two people in an emotional relationship) understand and resolve conflicts and relate to one another in healthier ways. After the initial consultation, you and your partner will be matched with a therapist suited to help reach your goals. Your therapist will then work work with you to improve areas including communication, intimacy, trust and empathy.

I had a very bad experience with Dr Heather Davidson. They called me at 1:30 and i went there at 1:20 they made me fill the form and i was put into the docter, she hardly spoke to me for 7 minutes, she was in hurry to go to the meeting, she assured me that she will find a therapist for my daughter, she gave me her number. I told her about the condition of my daughter which was quite worse. But its been one month and 20 days i couldnt hear anything, i called her several time but didnt get any response. Another thing is that they made me paid there for the consultation telling me that i have deductable

Working at Behavioral Associates was the ideal internship opportunity for an undergraduate psychology student. My time there allowed me the opportunity to understand different aspects of the inner workings of a therapy office in more depth, on top of inspiring an interest in alternative therapeutic methods to helping clients. The individuals who work at the office are open, kind, and direct, offering one on one support when needed. They take the time to describe what is expected, whilst bringing you into the cohesive environment within minutes of working there. I would encourage anyone pursuing

When I first met everyone at Behavioral Associates I was immediately given a warm welcome by not only people at the front desk, but by all of the staff I interacted with in the office. Starting the mental health care process can be very intimidating, and being welcomed by an informative and helpful staff makes all the difference between finding the necessary care and feeling invalidated. Accomplished therapists like Anya Shumilina and Natalie Wallace expanded my understanding of not only CBT, but DBT as well during group therapy sessions and individual talks. If you are considering visiting Behavioral

I was having anxiety, panic attacks and insomnia last year and started seeking help from the experts at Behavioral Associates. Dr. Reiner performed an intake eval and then properly matched me with Anya who specializes in these types of conditions. I am now a much more balanced, mindful and calm person who feels empowered with an armada of useful strategies and techniques to manage and regulate stressful situations in my life. I will say that I believe my own personal investment in this process (I did homework, reading, exercises--I treated it like a course/education) has also contributed to my

I attended this clinic for a few months and had a great experience overall. I do agree that the focus is very much on neurofeedback treatment; I was not entirely sure that this was for me. The recommendation was for sessions 2-3 times a week, and at $350 and hour it would be an understatement to say that this is a challenge on a student budget. Let alone the time commitment. Be prepared for this.
Whilst my therapists were young, I don't think it is doing them justice to write them off as "inexperienced". Alex and Pamela are very professional, highly qualified, intelligent, and caring. Group DBT

I must say this place has truly changed my life. After suffering my whole life and then having what I'd consitute as a mental breakdown, I'm living generally an anxiety free life without using medication. I thought this would never happen, but behavioral therapy is something I recommend to everyone around me!!
The staff is not only friendly, but they are relatable and talk to you in a way that doesn't feel like the other stereotypical therapy offices. They just get it and treat you like the human you are!
Anya is amazing and I couldn't be more thankful for her compassion and knowledge. Give it

I was dealing with a bad nervous breakdown and felt like I was lost with no hope until I found Behavioral Associates. From day one Dr.Reiner and his staff made me feel welcomed and safe. The therapeutic sessions, tools and friendly environment helped me to overcome my depression and anxiety and I am in such a better place now. I still have monthly sessions and at each session I learn something new in dealing with day to day life events that produce stress and anxiety. I am so grateful and thankful.
