Apartment is fairly priced and office staff is generally friendly.
Concerns are not taken care of in a timely manner (months not just days or weeks), personal property is not respected.
Security gate is regularly malfunctioning, which is not comforting in the slightest considering the part of town it is located in.
Kitchen is severely outdated, bathroom is nice, flooring is nice, windows leak, AC works, light fixturs and fans work.
While this is not a bad place to rent, there are several things that need significant improvement.

Worst place I have ever lived. They have bugs and mice and no plans to get rid of them. The walls are thin, so you can hear your neighbors. The floors are also awful. You can hear all the steps of the people above you. Save yourself the trouble and find another place to live. The management is terrible as well. They do not fix anything in a timely manner and they never communicate what they are doing.

There are a lot of things wrong with this place. The bathrooms smell like a sewer. There is a serious roach problem. The washing and drying machines will steal your money because they simply do not work a majority of the time, while the place raises the price to use broken machines. One time a dryer even caught on fire.... Every Wednesday morning they have landscapers come as early as 7:30 waking the entire complex up with blowers and mowers. I've had items stolen out of my car 3 times. AC doesn't work even though we have asked for it to be fixed multiple times. I wouldn't recommend living here

Deerfield Village allowed me to live in mold for months. The mold was soo bad that besides the ceiling fallen in from mold and wetness, it collapsed the board under my sink. Molded my toiletries so I moved, besides the roaches that's in Every Apartment. Oh and I Forgot they sent me to a collection agent because I moved me and my daughter out of the mold and roaches. Too bad, I'm unsueable.

I've been here since 2013. I've seen management change numerous times. Jesse is proactive! No distaste in past management but things are always improving. He is kind and helpful. The young lady in the office, I've encountered once or twice. Kind and courteous. The pillar of this complex is the maintenance team of Chris & Bob. First, they can be trusted. Secondly, very professional and kind. Third, they know there job! Finally, they are fast and very reliable.
Now...the only improvement I see necessary is beautification of front yards, if you will.
Thank you,

When my husband passed I had to make the move from rural upstate New York to Arizona in order to be with my daughter. Since she lives in Tucson, she took on the task of finding a good apartment for me. I feel she outdid herself when she guided me to Deerfield Village Apartments. This small apartment complex contains everything I need to rebuild my life: a private exercise room, a swimming pool, laundry, barbeque and picnic table areas complete with umbrellas. Since moving here last year I'm extremely impressed with how well-manicured they keep the grounds and how quickly the staff responds to my

Its a very nice complex to live in. Management (especially Hailey) has been kind, professional, warm, and responsive. The maintenance staff (Chris and Bob) are fantastic. They fix pretty much anything and everything, and most often within 24 hours (even if it's not an emergency). I have truly enjoyed living here. It can be hard to find apartment management companies that are ethical and decent in Tucson; Deerfield village has consistently been terrific. Thank you Deerfield village.

Honestly, the apartments themselves are nice for the price. However, when we moved in, it was dirty. The bathtub paint was scraping off, the inside of the cabinets were dirty from previous residents with things like strands of hair, and we had a bug problem that never got resolved. The cockroaches were never properly taken care of and we dealt with them our entire stay. On top of that, before we moved out we cleaned the place BETTER than it was when we moved in and they charged us for carpet damage when there was NONE. And there are also no lights in the entire place... zero. There are switches
